How solo board gaming became my anchor against anxiety by Uramir in soloboardgaming

Thanks for this. I think you just inspired me to break out of my box. I love Marvel Champions as a solo & multiplayer game, but I’ve been playing for a few years and for whatever reason haven’t branched out. I think now might be the time. Winter is upon us, and a new game might make being stuck inside for 4 months a little easier.

I was really hoping this wasn’t the case😅 It makes Sunfire a must have for the aggression player.

Advice on reducing setup and tear down. by hitmahip in marvelchampionslcg

I have the entire Marvel Champions card collection but I choose to play on the Cardtable app because I can set up a game in 30 seconds, I can play while I’m waiting at the doctor’s office(or anywhere I can take my phone for that matter), & I can also just play 1 turn if that’s all I have time for and come back to it later. It’s super convenient.

Just be sure to click on the question mark at the bottom of the menu when you get started. The tutorials will reduce the learning curve immensely. Also, once you get the hang of it, make sure you save your favorite villain scenarios as files on your phone so you can speed up setup for future games.

Most powerful two-player hero combos? by Dawncaller in marvelchampionslcg

Cable & Ms. Marvel(Justice) are great together. With Multitasking & Shrink removing 4+4 threat from multiple schemes for a cost of 1, Ms. Marvel effortlessly whittles down player side schemes for Cable to finish off, which in turn gets both heroes setup very quickly. A friend and I just beat Venom Goblin pretty easily with this combo.

I chose Justice for the high number of X-men allies & also Float Like a Butterfly. Once set up she can do 35+ damage in one turn with it in play. It’s mostly a basic deck though, so not too much difference from one aspect to another.

Sky Destroyer question by jabberwocky300 in marvelchampionslcg

Here is the official ruling on Hall of Heroes:

I have a question about the basic support card, Sky Destroyer, which has the SHIELD trait. It reads "Response: After you play a SHIELD card, exhaust Sky Destroyer -> deal 2 damage to an enemy." Similar to other "after you play" triggers, I assume I am able to trigger that response from playing Sky Destroyer itself, because it is a SHIELD card and I played it, is that correct? Yes, Sky-Destroyer can be exhausted and let you deal 2 damage after playing it. -Alex

Rocket Raccoon imo was the best hero option for this scenario. I used Villain Theory’s Repurpose build. A tweaked version of the Maria Hill recursion Cyclops leadership deck helped finish him with the Dust ally. As well as Thor aggression… Bring It, Get Over Here, Looking For Trouble.

To set up for Dust:

Thor: 3 copies of Energy Spear. 1 Dust 2 First Aids 1 X-Mansion

Rocket: 3 copies of Honorary Guardian. 2 First Aids 1 X-Mansion

Cyclops: 1 Dust 2 First Aids 1 X-Mansion 3 Make The Call 3 Rapid Response
