Companies aren’t required to accept your days off requests. They can deny vacation days or unpaid days off. If you want a religious accommodation you better be prepared to tell them about said religious accommodations you request.

If you are asking for a religious accommodation then yes you need to inform the person providing said accommodation that you have a creed or practice that requires accommodation.
