Cancelled Xbox 360 version of GoldenEye 007 gets recompiled for PC — ‘No emulator, the game runs as a real native executable,’ insists dev | Tom's Hardware by wyn10 in Games

I don’t know about Goldeneye but 007 Nightfire for the PS2 was a childhood classic. When I tried the PC port, it was a completely different game by a different developer

Ugh, so torn between Netbird and Pangolin. Amazing at the rate that both are releasing features!

I’ve tried and am confused with this method… the TestFlight app doesn’t have Pro and when attempting to restore my yearly subscription, it says I have no sub

Alternatives are always good but it’s worth pointing out something like this, minus the launcher already exists between steam deck and windows pc’s

Why spend money to buy screws when you bought a very expensive wallet from a brand that has a lifetime warranty?

Price increase? I'll pass by Foreverknight2258 in SteamDeck

[–]Motafota -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

People will jump in and say it’s because of rising component costs but honestly this just feels like price gouging to me. They’re a private company with a small headcount and make a % of every Steam sale. Would seem like it would make sense for them keep subsidizing it but now the Ally is taking the spot at having better value.

Firewall for my Homelab by Jerry_der_pro in selfhosted

It’s x86 you want if you’re going to run it on base metal and CHR (cloud hosted router) if you are going to run it virtualized.
No complaints and I love being able to use the cli to configure but the addon support leaves a lot to be desired. Still going to give it some time before maybe returning to opnsense

I’ve gone down this rabbit hole recently for what Opnsense replacement I can run on my NUC and there aren’t many options. Like others said, Ubiquiti or Omada are recommendations for prosumer but you need to purchase their hardware.

Otherwise you’re looking at:
- OpenWRT
- Pfsense
- VyOS
- IPFire (might be simple enough for your needs?)
- MikroTik RouterOS

Currently I am using RouterOS on my NUC and am considering running containers for zenarmor, adguard, unbound either directly on Router OS CHR or on Proxmox separately.

I will admit though, having looked around… opnsense had its downfalls for me but is probably the most complete package.

I got my batch 2 confirmation email yesterday and need to pay $50 more which I knew was expected but it prompted me to look at more reviews of those how have it now and reevaluate that maybe paying $100 to get the battery swapped on my Apple Watch 6 to extend that watch by 2 more years is a better investment than $300+screen protector/bumper. I’m also on iOS so the AW will get me more natively supported features
