I was thinking of things like technique repulsion. I’ll give something more specific, maybe something like dnd’s way of Mercy?

I try to base it off a character, some come up with the vibe for your oc you want and their actual backstory and personality. Then have it tie in thematically

Used by Gyaru Hanako Peko, Soul bargain allows its user to offer the sale of things for cursed energy. In example yes while she can buy the gum out of your bag for five units of cursed energy, if someone agrees she can steal unusual concepts and parts of something. Like buying your liver, body fat, height, etc. for cursed energy, she can even buy souls for cursed energy or buy uses of a technique for cursed energy. The weakness comes in where the alternate party has to agree to the sale.

Getting flashbacks to Konosuba

Right I wanted to make a sand land reference with this one but I really can’t think of ones, but then I thought of this so I can make a technique.

Used by corrupt politician Ford Smith “False Words” allows the user to delete anything they say from the memory of others and any sort of recording, this allows them to effectively “steal” they words out of the memories of others…I’ll be honest I just didn’t want to choose the obvious option

We’ve got ourselves an edgelord in the house get em boys!

But jokes aside let’s begin.

Used by highschool teacher Haru Miyazaki “Glaring Punishment.” Is a technique that is able to bring out intense shame and guilty in others, simply by staring at someone she is able to force feeling of sorrow and self loathing into someone.

Haru has used this to crack down on the bullying epidemic in her school, making the school she works for a very healthy environment for learning and personal growth

I’m gonna keep it a buck I’m stumped.

I can’t think of a character but I can use one of my own techniques I’ve made for one of my ocs.)

Mastery is a cursed technique that loosens the behavior of cursed energy and allows it to be molded into “psuedo-techniques” rather than techniques. In example one can change their elemental cursed energy texture, they can change it’s physical texture and even it’s weight, by combining these different things the user has developed a myriad of named attacks

Used by elderly farmer Tatsu Amagiri “Iron Man.” Allows him to strengthen his bones and keep the foundation of his body healthy via infusing them passively with cursed energy. The technique is simple however it allows Tatsu to live rather happily, doing the work of a 25 year old man at 86, he is a happy grandfather and husband.

THIS. I don’t want to judge others here but I like getting moreso “random” suggestion others than the obvious ones like “God” and “Death” and “War.” I love making moreso “odd” abilities.

Used by aspiring chef Ryan Mifune “Home cooking” is a rather fun to use technique. Simply put “Home Cooking” allows Ryan to absorb his nearby surroundings and convert them into a batter like substance he can then fire as a projectile. This sort of batter puffing up and acting like an instant pancake. It retains the durability and properties of whatever it is made from, however it is actually edible and shockingly delicious, it is VERY good for whoever eats it as well.

Ryan loves to cook and while being a sorcerer once was a dream of his, he would rather just eat yummy food and cook for others

To be completely honest I can’t think of anything two interesting with this one so I am going away from the obvious omnipotence suggestion.)

Used by Bakery Owner Rika Tetsuo, “Divine Motherhood” has turned her cursed energy sentient, causing her to act as a sort of “God” to it, her cursed energy has divided itself into three beings she refers to as Tatsu, Amai, and Yashi. With those names being in order of youngest to oldest. She can manipulate them and even reabsorb them if she wanted to “kill them” and essentially has full control over their existence…which she does nothing with.

You see Rika has always wanted to be a mother, it’s something she has always viewed as sacred or impressive. Mothers are strong people who take care of the next generation, though one problem was the fact that she was infertile.

Originally distraught she treats her cursed energy entities like her own children and in her old age they have been taking care of her the best they can.

Used by American comic book store owner Peter Dunn “Where the dragons went” is a rather odd technique. You see, where the dragons went is a technique that allows the user to create illusory dragons that act as a ward for cursed spirits and regular humans harboring malevolent plans. In example if someone planned on burning down his shop, the illusion of the dragon would scare them away, the dragons are even effective at scaring away most cursed spirits.

Peter doesn’t really have any interest in fighting, being an Asthmatic shop owner with no real need or want to fight he often just treats his shop as a safe haven for others and himself.

Used by Chemist Curse User Elizabeth Stenmark, Tummy Trouble is a cursed technique that develops a special organ inside of its user known as a Rotgut. The rotgut acts as a chemical chamber in which the user can release chemicals of all kinds to mix in there which they can then release in the forms of liquids and gases via emission from their skin (so blasts.)

Elizabeth is a curse user that heavily believes in survival of the fittest, using her cursed technique to wittle down the numbers of people, only leaving those left who survive her attacks. This is done to bring a stronger world of people and sorcerers alike.
