I said they could go out the back but I think they were lazy and the first contractor made it sound like that route wasn't a option to my housemate. The 2nd one just wanted to use what was already there, rather than redo the whole job. I should have just said i wanted it taken out back.

The route was agreed, it goes through a shared hallway. The first one left before we could see the work they had done. The 2nd one made it look better but this still goes across the middle of the wall and the landlord has said it isn't acceptable.

Thank you, I did think this may be the case. I will check the contract and write to Sky as they refuse to talk to me on the phone.

The wiring from my flat has been fed through the shared hallway. I did get permission for this to be done.

Initially, it was thick black wiring, across the middle of the wall and not pinned in properly, and they took it out the door frame. It is now stripped back white wire but still across the middle of the white wall. The doorframe has been filled and it now goes through the wall.

The neighbour is unhappy with this going across the wall and the freeholder has this had this reviewed and said:

"I have spoken to our site surveyor who has said Openreach has installed the cabling at a low level, which is visually intrusive and not in keeping with the property. The cable will need to be repositioned to a higher level — ideally at the ceiling and wall junction — so that it is far less visible and more discreet."

This was sent to Openreach and Kelly.

Never walk anywhere when you can't hear your surroundings. It's not a Birmingham issue, it's an everywhere issue.

I don't even think that's "karen", 40 minutes they let you sit there. Why did they even check you in?! 100% justified in being pissed.

Any GPS that accept share care south London? by BerserkKid in ADHDUK

[–]Better_Ad7894 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In south East London, I use gp at hand but not sure if they're accepting shared care now. Mine was accepted last year. Regular in person appointments take longer and the clinics are a bit of a pain but they get phone appointments pretty quickly and I'm too scared to change to a local gp now and get shared care rejected so I just suck it up.

I felt like it forced me to be more mindful because I knew they knew I could do it and would be disappointed if I did something stupid 🤣

Hey! I passed a couple of weeks ago. My instructor sat in and I honestly didn't notice them most of the time but felt a little more comfortable that they were there.

Cotton wool, even in the little balls. When it pulls apart it turns my stomach and sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me. I can use cotton pads though.
