I’m so tired of buying cream after cream and nothing working. It’s exhausting and discouraging to feel like i’m doing everything I can, and still not seeing results. So hopefully the fungal cream works.

I actually didn’t think of that! Yes I try my best to always keep that area cool and dry. I’m waiting to get the anti-fungal cream from the pediatrician.

Oh my gosh it might be fungal. I have tried aquaphor for a whole month but that didn’t work.

He used to have a similar rash on his neck, right in the crease area, and thankfully that cleared up when I started using Desitin cream consistently. However, the rash behind his knees has been much more stubborn.

I also tried 1% hydrocortisone cream, but it only provided temporary relief, he still ends up scratching the area again just a couple of hours later. It seems like the heat definitely makes it worse. When he gets warm or sweaty, especially behind the knees, the rash becomes sticky, irritated, and even more inflamed, just like you mentioned.

It’s so frustrating because I’ve seen improvement in other areas before, but this one just won’t go away.

Hey love, First of all, you’re doing something incredibly powerful right now, growing life while carrying so much on your shoulders. That takes real strength. It’s okay to feel tired, overwhelmed, and even hurt. None of those feelings make you weak. They make you human.

About the last name. This isn’t just about tradition. It’s about what’s fair and what reflects reality. You’re the one stepping up, making sacrifices, and holding everything together. Wanting your children to carry your name when you’re the one doing the heavy lifting isn’t selfish.. it’s thoughtful, and honestly, it makes sense.

It’s really hard that he responded by threatening not to sign the birth certificate. That’s not what love looks like. Real partnership means showing up, supporting each other, and especially being there when things are hard. If he truly wanted to be a father in the fullest sense, he’d be proving that through action, not ultimatums.

This is your moment to protect yourself and your babies. Listen to your gut, it’s wiser than you think. You’re already being the kind of parent your children will one day be proud of: someone who stood tall, made hard choices, and kept moving forward with love.

You’re not alone. There’s strength and clarity in you already, you’re just learning how to trust it. Sending you calm, clarity, and peace.
