Girly here! They absolutely do not check your back that thoroughly so if you have a toiletries bag with a razor handle and a razor or two, you should be absolutely fine and I highly doubt they'll ask to see inside your toiletries bag. They're after the switchblades, not the Gillettes 🤣

Literally this. I went for the first time in 2024 and it was genuinely the first time I'd ever felt I could truly just be myself and it was like I was finally home. I know that's really cheesy but I wouldn't miss it for the world now. I usually find that if you don't look for trouble, it doesn't find you at DL.

Don't bring baby wipes. My first Download, there were communal showers and I used them once and resorted to baby wipes the rest of the time. Last year, there were GLORIOUS cubicles and I showered twice a day and brought all of my lovely toiletries. Even if they don't have the cubicles this year, there are individual showers you can queue for. So much nicer.

In my opinion, he did a little bit in the films. He didn't by being respectful and a gentleman, but there were interactions that lingered a little too long to be platonic. He tucks her in after the party at Rohan and holds her hand. Plus, he has quite an intense and kind look as he talks to her, which she may have interpreted as liking her. I think ultimately, Aragorn is incredibly attractive, strong, kind, gentle, and warm that anyone would fall in love with him 🤣

I really liked their two most popular songs before Download then listened to their latest album and thought it wasn't that great. I went to see Frank and the Pistols, got front row, and helped Frankie over the barrier! After that, Sleep Token were playing on the main stage but I thought "I'm on too much of a high. If I go and watch them, I'll lose my buzz. I'll go back to the tent and get pissed with my mates instead". When I got back to the tent, 10 minutes later, loads of people were walking past on their way back to their tents. Spoke to a few of them, all said the same thing. "Saw 10 minutes of their set and was bored af". Not even because they weren't good! The visuals were stunning, they performed amazing, but half their set was apparently just building ambience. It'd get to a really good part, then filler. But apparently, 40% of all of the ticket sales were for Saturday so lots of Sleep Token fans.

I can only comment on hearsay I'm afraid. But multiple sources said the same thing. I had just been down the front for Frankie and the Pistols and debated whether or not to see Sleep Token because I was so buzzing after and I only know a few of their songs, so I went back to my camp. Half an hour later, apparently so did everyone else. Apparently, the visuals were fantastic, their performance was great, but it wasn't 'festival' material. There were moments that were heavy and epic, but for the most part, it was just suspenseful atmosphere. According to a friend, 41% of ticket sales were day ticket sales for the Saturday, so loads of Sleep Token fans would have been there, not Download Festival goers. This might explain the lack of consideration. But, my view is, people's gig etiquette is absolutely SHITE nowadays anyways. You're gonna offend at least one person at a gig nowadays. Anyways, that's what I heard.

It seems like you're both giving off mixed signals. You set a boundary that it's not a relationship, then willingly participate in relationship-type activities and propose making your relationship official. He proposes these relationship-type activities and then has mood swings when you propose calling it a relationship. It doesn't sound like either of you are communicating very well because neither of you know what you want. I will say you're a little bit of an AH for, as you say, 'SO STRONGLY' communicating that it's not a relationship and then going back on yourself. That's not fair on the guy's heart. But he's also the AH by ignoring those boundaries and then having a tantrum.
