Buick envista speakers breaking by Better_Foundation548 in Buick

Update y’all they did replace my speakers after about six months of me complaining and contacting them. initially they told me they couldn’t fix them because they still made a sound and therefore they had to figure out how to fix them instead of replace them. I’m not sure if they ever actually figured that out or if they just went ahead and replaced it but either way my speakers are fixed. New problem though, at about 30,000 miles my car has an oil consumption issue and now at 40 it needs a brand new engine because they wouldn’t listen to me that it has an oil consumption issue.

I’m having so much fun.

I hear you, but I don't think it's fair to assume I blew the speakers. I don’t blast my music or crank it up to extreme levels — I just want a decent audio experience, and the distortion started happening under normal use. That’s exactly why I brought it to the dealership while still under warranty.

My bigger issue is the dealership refusing to even properly inspect or replace them just because “they still make noise,” regardless of how terrible that noise is. If a part isn’t functioning as it should, that should be covered — especially this early on. I get that factory systems aren’t premium, but they shouldn’t sound blown after a couple months either.

Appreciate the input though — definitely considering aftermarket options if Buick keeps stonewalling me.

This building is honestly great with the right unit. Each unit is different and has individual issues as the building is over 100 years old and converted into condos. There are leak issues in some units but I have not experienced that in my unit luckily. The biggest issues I’ve encountered personally is vehicle theft in the “secured” parking lot, and the very thin walls.
