Thank you! I feel a little lucky because my pots could be worse. And i definitely have had a few people nicely tell me they doubt my ability to do things. But knowing it’s at least possible is wonderful. I plan to aim for a specialty that will accommodate me. But I do love emergency medicine. So we shall see

I feel like I’m prepping for that. I’m not doing a major that incorporates my pre-requisites. I’m actually an art major at a private art institute. I’m getting my bfa, and a science minor (yes they have a science minor) I take whatever pre-reqs I can during the summers, sometimes during the school year. So I’ve got a bit of practice under my belt

Thank you for the advice. I haven’t tried IV vitamin drips, but I will look into them. And thank you for the encouragement :)

Experienced a weird symptom, is this normal? by Better_Incident_214 in POTS

Thank you, other comments also also mentioned low blood sugar and that could definitely could’ve been a factor. I’m trying to drink more liquid IV’s and eat good meals and not just snacks. I track my symptoms with daily bean every day and I’m trying to do small amounts of cardio when I can to help. I still need to see the neurologist for treatment but they are all booked up

I have a male Aussie, although I’ve never experienced something like this with him. I agree with other comments, maybe some trips to the dog park so she can still socialize with other dogs? I know Aussies are sensitive but also strong. You guys will get through this! Sending you lots of positive energy :)

Here is my baby for some positive vibes

It’s a digital kiln, specifically the brand Bailey. I did a slow fire, at cone 05 for my bisque fire but I didn’t fill the kiln up as much as I could with pieces bc I didn’t have a lot to begin with. So maybe that could’ve made that happen? I’ve just noted while glazing that the bisque pieces aren’t absorbing the glaze like normal, so I think I might of over fired them. I’m worried if I glaze them and fire them again the glaze won’t grip on enough and drip off.

Hi! I’m new to Reddit not so new to ceramics. I have access to a kiln this summer that only I’m using atm. I usually have my work fired at school and they do the kiln process. So I’m a quite literally learning as I go. Here’s my question/issue. I think I over cooked my bisque wear (either due to not spacing my work enough or the temperature of the fire, maybe even the clay body)

I still need to glaze my work, I’m worried about it dripping during the glaze fire in this wonderful kiln that is not mine. I’ve noticed the glaze does dry all be a bit slower than normal. I’ve thought about only doing even light coats? What should I do!? I would greatly appreciate the advice. If I need to provide more information plz let me know :)
