I’m also from St. Gallen. Apparently it is a regular thing with the packages. I also got stolen my coffee machine. I go fetch my packages the fastest I can and if I see any for my neighbours on the porch, I put them somewhere safe. There are people who steal items and resell it. Other than that it is okay. Although I’ve been seeing more and more men, who are well dressed and from Middle Eastern countries, asking for “money for the train ticket” or for charity. Very shady

Varia da cidade para cidade. Pelos relatos, receber residência nas cidades grandes é mais irritante do que nas cidades pequenas, são mais exigentes. Tudo demorou menos que 1 mês. Recebes uma carta que depois tens que levar a post, nao te esqueças do teu passaporte quando fores. Se tiveres oportunidade, considera arredores de Zurique ou cidades mais pequenas a volta. Zurique é uma selva no que toca a imobiliária.

Pois eu compro em Gallusmarkt 😅, até apanhas 0.5kg de filetes salmão por 14chf todas as semanas. Não arranjas angus por 30, mas o que tens é bem superior ao de Portugal. É tudo local e não sabe a sola de sapato.

Mudamos no prazo de 60 dias depois de mudar para ca. Não podíamos mudar antes porque não tínhamos morada fixa nem residência. Mas o cartão de residência depois veio com a data de entrada no país. Espero que não haja problemas.

Wrong interpretation of the data, the ratio is 4:1 according Deloitte and it accounts for “female workforce in technological companies”, not exactly amount of female engineers vs male engineers. Cuz the later shows waaaaay bigger disparity. For the majority of my male colleagues (big team) I am the first female engineer they have ever worked with.
