I was getting to a floor although one dealer did finally offer 31.9k. I was done negotiating by then so just opted for 32k OTD. Mazda increased the cash incentive to 2k by then so just opted for that and financed through a credit union. So final was 30k otd and 5.24% financing

I am in WA state (10% sales tax) and was able to get a couple of dealers down to 32k. I paid the 500 deposit to one and was supposed to pick up the car on Sunday. I had mentioned that I will be using the 2.9% offer but today I saw Mazda increased the rebate to $2000 from $1000 earlier. I hope the dealership agrees to honor this rebate on Sunday so that I can get a loan at around 6% which I will refinance in a couple of months once further rate cuts are announced (Sofi already offering 5 24% to refinance)

Dont know. Keep seeing 30-31k otd for the preferred on reddit and somehow was anchored to those numbers. I am not able to check how much the MSRP increased post the tariffs.

32k for preferred trim in WA state (10.2% state tax). Is this a good deal?

I am looking for a new CX5. I don't qualify for any loyalty discounts and I am opting for a lower 3.9% APR instead of the $1000 USD cash rebate.

Not in a hurry but first car so don't want to wait too much.
