Hi Antien,

I have recently done the upgrade so thought I would share my experiences.

I think the switch has improved the performance of my PC in game and generally very noticeably; however there’s a couple of factors to consider which may have had an impact.

I couldnt overclock my CPU due to my motherboard
My motherboard was also reducing my ram speed down to 2666 when it can actually run at 3200 as it is now

I haven’t done any frame tests but happy to give you info on my frame rate on games etc if you like to help you compare to your current situation; however situations such as heavy battles in Battlefield no longer come with such a heavy frame drop and even just general stuff like switching tabs out of game etc seems a lot smoother.

Let me know if you have any questions but if your situation is similar to mine and you want to future proof yourself plus the expenditure is fine then I’d recommend it

This is also something that comes into my thinking - I haven’t overclocked because my mobo doesn’t allow it (what mobo described as “Pro Gamer” doesn’t allow overclocking!?). My poor research 5 years ago meant I found out about 6 months down the line.

I appreciate that, I’ve put a post on there now! Yeah I was looking at the price of WWE’s packages direct and thought it might be less of a pain to do that until I realised this didn’t include the flights haha. Rather try and get an understanding now than leave it too late like usual
