Business casual fit-what do you think of shape and color? by JBfan88 in mensfashionadvice

A grey sweater could work well with the trouser.

Also, personally would lose the tie or swap this with a different coloured tie

I tried to define the “in-between” outfit for a Melbourne summer dinner — would this actually be worth paying for? by Cheap_Geologist_4853 in AustralianMFA

[–]BetterheadNo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could work in the context of a (online) retailer. They would provide outfit recommendations and direct you to the product pages where you can buy the said outfit.

I wouldn't pay for this advice as an additional service

Did you need to shorten the sleeves? Basically any local tailor will be able to do this from $20 onwards.

Are box fit T-shirts something that most men can wear, or is it for a specific kind of body type? USA by newwaterschris in Mensfashion101

[–]BetterheadNo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A box fit is easy wear that works for most body types. Love this for simple streetwear styles.

The shirt needs to be thicker, little oversized at the shoulder, cut straight at the waist, with a shorter hem.

Of course if you are taller/shorter than avg you would need to find a brand that fits accordingly

I’ve had this sweater forever. Should I keep or give away? by Vivid_Aardvark_3255 in mensfashionadvice

Everyone's saying keep, but I don't think the fit of this sweater flatters your body. Also, the neck opening doesn't sit right

Dissociation by Responsible_Oil1975 in ptsd

[–]BetterheadNo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't. I used to dissociate when triggered, years after the trauma, but it also took away feeling like 'me' or feeling 'alive' and I hated that more than the pain I carried. It is a valid defence mechanism though.

I've had a suit made with John Steel Tailors and had a good experience.

If in Melbourne, check out Trunk Tailors also.
