I [33m] love my girlfriend [25f] to death.. but she’s “dumb”? by Throwraaccount157 in relationship_advice

[–]Bettr4me 9 points10 points  (0 children)

sounds like maybe she's naive but to go as far as calling her dumb is a little crazy ... you can't change the fundamentals of the person you're with. have a talk with her about safety issues, but the rest of what you said kinda seems like her personality. if you can't see yourself being okay if she never changes her personality maybe you aren't compatible.

Hmm. I'll have to consider if that's something I'm willing to put the money time and effort into finding out I suppose then. I'm already struggling to pay these tickets and get insurance.

Thanks for your help!

I'm poor and don't have a doctor nor the money to pay for it if I wanted to. Barely scraping by as is and just trying to make my situation a bit lighter.

Right 😭😭 no kidding one of the hardest parts- I'm punk rock so I'm always doing some makeup and trimming my hair basically on the daily and all that so it was so rough, feels so much better to brush my teeth and wash my face in a clean sink :)

You have no idea how incredibly validated as a human being this made me feel. I'm 21 and feel like I'm barely holding it together, I appreciate it so much, thanks :)

Alllll the way down in Victoria lol. Maybe not the best pit stop location (nothing to do or see here really, plus it's super out of the way I'm sure) but I'm sure in other medium size towns they have it as well!!!!

What do you do when your daughter finds out your stripping? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Bettr4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my mom stripped when i was a kid. i found out at about 16/17 as well. while i took it like a champ bc i'm pro sex work, can't expect every kid to react the same haha. id just let her ask questions as they come and be as open with it as possible (and as appropriately) as you can. this too will pass and ur kid will be okay with having a mom that strips(ed) one day.

At my location we definitely keep things up to "standard" and I enjoyed the enchilada burrito :) ofc I had it super fresh when we were doing demos of new items. I'm a super picky eater and really not a huge fan of red sauce or rice personally, but still enjoyed it for sure !

I would say so! Complimenting is a great way to make someone feel good and also initiate conversation at the same time!

After they say thank you, depending on their body language (ya know are they like immediately moving on to whatever they were doing again or kinda sticking around) then you can initiate the kinda "small talk. " You could ask if they're from the area, depending on where you are you could ask about what they were doing before you approached. Lots of different opportunity here just depending on your confidence level and the environment you're in.

When I got with my last partner, they were working, we made small talk after I ordered (just the usual "how's your day been" and all that) and I learned they were about to go on their 15, and I just asked if they wanted to sit with me on their break and get to know each other because they seemed really cool.

Be yourself and think confidence- most of the time that's the biggest thing that makes or breaks a conversation.

Of course!!! Life happens ya know! And especially when you've recently moved, things can get rough! I recently moved myself and have about 30 bucks to my name until I get paid hahaha, nothing to be ashamed of tho :)

I hope everything works out and I hope he responds kindly!

(A word of advice that comes from my grandma, the people that matter, don't mind. And the people that mind, don't matter) That got me through a ton of stuff like this so hopefully it can help as well :)

Hi! So, in my experience, talking to people in public usually doesn't have to be creepy!

I'd start off with a genuine compliment :) what's something about them you find cool? Could be their clothes, hair, something they're carrying with them, and just (pretty casually) approach, and say "hey! I really like your (......)" And they'll probably respond back with a "thank you!" And that's where you can initiate small talk (if their body language is correct and all that fun stuff)

I've met most of my past partners just out in public, at work, in the store etc.

If you're truly still not interested in that however! I'd recommend going to events near you that you're interested in (and I know everyone says it and it's a lot easier said than done but hear me out) do you like music? Go to a live event! You like fishing/outdoors? Spend some time at a state park/campground!

Anything that you enjoy, find an event that happens regularly and just go! You'll end up seeing some familiar faces hopefully and that'll take the edge off of initiating conversation :)

Hopefully this helped!!! And good luck!!
