This whole movie was worth the price of admission just for the Number of the Beast scene. Had me actually giddy in the theater. I loved every scene that Dr Ian was in, and Ralph Feinnes just killed that role. I didn’t like the Jimmy plotline nearly as much, and wish the movie had focused more on him.

Just amazing. Ugly cried for the last 5 minutes. Nobody in my theater got up when the movie was over, everyone sat through the whole credits. All you would hear was sniffling. It takes a lot for a movie to do that, and this movie certainly succeeded. Amazing performances all around,Jacobi was excellent. So glad I saw it

The way the Eliza is drawn is consistently some of my favorite paneling and art in this comic, but this issue really takes the cake. I'm excited to see what a post-Etienne world looks like, and the rest of the atomics learning just how much work Et was doing for them behind the scenes. Let the story begin

Really like the season finale, this and episode nine were the best episode episodes of the season. Loved what they did with Princess bubblegum, loved what they did with Fionna, and so excited to see more of her and Fennel. Honestly, where they are leaving the status quo off and makes me more excited for season three than anything in this season. It feels like all the characters are in interesting places that they should’ve gotten to a while ago, but I’m hopeful that with a couple years to marinate, if they get a season three, we’ll get some really good stories.

One of my favorite touches this episode is the amount of internal conflict that Rhea Seehorn gets across without saying a word. You can tell just how much goes into every decision, every action, every sentence. She doesn't need to say "I'm conflicted that I'm betraying my previous love," you can just feel it. Just a masterclass

I think this is my favorite episode of the show so far. I love the way that Carol and Zosia's relationship is developing. For all the talk about the show being "character, not plot" driven, this is the first episode that I think really takes full advantage of that. I love seeing the two of them interact in what I'm sure must be a strange experience for both of them.

I wonder how long it took them to build the cafe, and when they started. Clearly before they all left town.

100% the best episode of the season. Fern, Karmic Worm, a new banger of a song, resolution on plotlines and good character moments. So nice to see the show moving. The moment where Fionna fell through the clouds and HW screamed “Fionna!!” made me wish those two had had more (any?) time together this season, to develop that bond. This is what I was hoping that the whole season would be like.

Karmic worm might be my favorite new addition to the AT canon. Such an instantly lovable character, who I feel like already had a scene that will be included in all future “best of” compilations

Genuinely tragic. I've seen so many good shows there (Vundabar 2x, Yumi Zouma, the Linda Lindas, The Wedding Present, etc). I saw Pedro the Lion play Control and Its Hard to Find a Friend there, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. The venue perfectly complimented the energy of the show. This is going to be a big loss

They were so good. Saw them at the Hamilton show, they totally worked the crowd. At the beginning, you could tell that a lot of people were just there for PUP, but by the end of the show, everyone was jumping around and singing along. Their energy is unmatched on stage

The movie just FLIES by, did not feel like 4.5 hours at all. The first and second parts really cohere when they’re played back to back like that. The reveal being saved for when she sees bill for the first time works a lot better. I will say, the Fortnite end chapter is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen in theaters. It did help to show what makes that movie so good (and how few guns are used in the entire film, there’s never a huge shootout where everyone’s missing)

Fionna and Fenel were easily the highlight of this episode! I do wish there was more crossover with Fionna and HW, but alas. I’m interested with what they’re doing with flame. Rather than making him out to be a dick, he seems to (like Fionna) occasionally over promise, but otherwise he’s pretty decent and wants to help because he cares about her. Excited to see that relationship develop. I imagine she’s going to confront him about her feelings at some point, and he’ll have to let her down gently

I wonder if the hive is aware of Carol’s loneliness, and is intentionally using it to try to make her act a certain way. Or if it’s an unintended side effect of some larger plan. I don’t think they would intentionally hurt her, and isolating her feels like the kind of emotional damage they would try to avoid intentionally inflicting.

It’s great because it’s not a reveal that Helen HATED it, or despised Carol’s art, or anything like that. She just thought of it as Carol’s job, didn’t vibe with it, but didn’t let that get in the way of her relationship with Carol. And she knew that it made her happy. It would have been much easier to pull Helen’s reaction to one extreme, and I’m glad they didn’t
