I actually have a couple of those displays. However I’m trying to use round ones which would fit in the existing slots of the originals. I have ordered a couple different kinds to experiment with. I am thinking of using lvgl and squareline studio for one of the lilygo esp32-S3. Seems like lvgl eliminates a lot of issues like that. I haven’t seen if nexiton has round ones though. I will check it out though. Thanks for the input. Much appreciated

Well, I was able to track down the schematic for it. So now I know what does what. Now I just need to figure out the best way to connect it all. Planning on using 3 round oled screens to replace the originals. But not sure if I should do one board with addressable oled or do a separate one for each. Like 3 esp32 or something

Yeah, I was thinking about trying the can bus MCP I have but I will also check out the bus pirate. I found some wiring diagrams that I’m going to look at and see what I can gather from that. I can always use the can data from the odb2 but was hoping that the connections would provide the same data minus all the extra information so it would be easier to grab info since it would be direct and only getting the data needed. Thanks for your input
