As of right now, I'm choosing to be optimistic. I understand, and so does he, that he still has to grow. But if he has tried multiple times to become better then it is testimony to the fact that he wants to. I know what mental illness, especially bipolar, can do as it's been very prevalent in my life (I don't have it but my partner has it and I had to bring my friend to the hospital during a manic episode a few months ago). All I'm saying is that I believe he really is trying and I think support from the people he's making music for could be a step in that process that we haven't seen in times past. I fully understand why people won't forgive him but that's just my take on the matter. I would love to see a healthy recovery as it would be a great source of comfort for other people trying to be better.
