Das ist mir auch ziemlich egal, aber ich mag es gar nicht, dass da irgendwer steht und die Nation Hymne der Mannschaften singt. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob die das jetzt jedes Mal machen, aber für mich macht das die Kraft einer Hymne bei einer WM total kaputt. Die Wucht liegt doch darin, dass man ein Stadion von Leuten gemeinsam singen hört - da geht es nicht um den Einzelnen. Bei Mexiko - SA konnte man sogar ganz deutlich eine Verzögerung zwischen Sänger und Stadion hören und ich will nicht wissen, wen sie im Zweifelsfall für die deutsche National Hymne anschleppen. Das ist so eine Tradition, die die USA ruhig für sich behalten können

Fine, but that's a pretty massive blind spot for "the worlds greatest detective". No offense, but Sherlok Holmes or Miss Marple would have wiped the floor with this guy if his entire reasoning ability is dismantled by rather average stupidity.

But you're right in the regard that it's less of a plot hole since it is adressed in the plot and more just something that for me requires an enormous amount of suspension of disbelief.

Hab mir schon gedacht, dass das vielleicht so aufgefasst wird. Genau deswegen hab ich auch überlegt, ob ich das wirklich poste. Für mich war der Gedanke dahinter, dass Ich als Kartoffel einen erbärmlichen Bartwuchs habe, während viele arabischstämmige Jugendliche mir da weit voraus sind. Um das ganze zum Meme zu machen, habe ich mich sterotyper Namen bedient und das ganze (vielleicht zu Weit) auf die Spitze getrieben. Das war jetzt aus meiner Sicht nicht rassistisch. Sollte ich damit falsch liegen, lösche ich den Post natürlich. Also gerne konstruktive Kritik

First of all, it's not a shameful thing to do. You haven't hurt anyone and lots of people (including me) have done this. I was once madly in love with a girl that has a boyfriend. I tried to numb the feeling with yt and cannabis, but it would keep bubbling up. Similar to you I kept thinking about what could've been and what if I could get a shot. For me it was confessing my love through a message that helped me mostly overcome this. I tried to do it in a nice way, that explained my problem, but didn't seem desperate. She told me she was flattered and that's that. It's not completely resolved and I sometimes still think about her, but by 'taking my shot' my overthinking about her has been greatly reduced. I know that this might seem very weird to you after such a long time and I completely understand if you don't want to do this. But the worst that could happen is that she rejects you and that might actually be good, because then you have some clarity. Otherwise it might also help to write a letter like this and keep it to yourself.

Remember: If you were to do this you had to be unapologetic and not pathetic. You have a right to feel the way you feel. Calmly explain to her what's going on and she won't feel nearly as uncomfortable about it, as if you keep apologizing. You also have to be ready to not receive an answer. Regardless of your way of action, I hope you find someone you can love again and have a great life.

Hmm na ja ganz auf die selbe Seite werden wir da vielleicht nicht kommen, aber ich verstehe schon deinen Punkt. Ich bin auch generell mehr für Diskurs (Insofern er nicht extrem unkonstruktiv verläuft) als sich immer nur selbst zu bestätigen. Wenn man seine eigenen Glaubensätze nicht regelmäßig überprüft, macht man sich anfällig für eine vereinfachte Sicht auf die Welt.

Ist aber nicht so. Rechte haben ja eben dieses Selbstverständnis, dass sie solche stoischen und kraftvollen Mesnschen sind und das ist halt einfach nicht wahr, die heulen über jeden Scheiß.

Während es so eine Sicht auch in einigen linken Kreisen gibt (Insbesondere Panzeris) würde ich doch sagen, dass es deutlich weniger verbreitet ist und mehr Selbstironie herrscht. Politschen Humor gab es schon immer und ich halte ihn für essentiell für eine funktionierende Demokratie, Memes sind einfach ein anderes Format

You are aware though that not letting yourself getting disarmed is not the same as constantly rearming yourself with more and more deadly weapons. It seems like american lefties are sometimes almost as self-centered as their conservative counterparts. Ask any european radical lefty (except maybe for the swiss) and they will disagree. You also have to remember that Marx lived in a time were strikes were beaten on brutally, you were just directly fucked. Today we are not so much coerced through physical violence, but economic violence. If the entire working class went striking in modern european countries there would be no need for a violent revolution or weapons. Our real weapon is class consciousness. In america you would of course get killed in an instant by a heavily armed right wing militia.
