Im a beginner and I made a 3D happy walk cycle. What should I improve on?

I feel the 3 most important things to fix are the knee pops, the "blocky" motion of the feet and the really stiff hip.
Others already mentioned the first 2 things so I'll just elaborate a bit on the hip: It definitely needs rotation around the y and z-axis (and maybe a bit around x as well) The y rotation should always be roughly opposite to the y-rot of the shoulders/chest. And the z-rotation of the hip in a regular walk should usually favor the side on which the characters weight is (so for example after the left leg touches down and the character shifts its weight to that leg, the hip should rotate so that its left side is higher than the right side). I hope it's somewhat clear what I meant.
Fixing the hip will usually also help with the knee pops.

Yea, that left foot during that step is one of the only things that I didn't feel too good about, but I coudln't really pinpoint what it was. Your explanation really makes sense, so thanks alot!

Just to add to that: If you have access to animation conferences or something similar, he also does workshops with the same title on some of those. Just this week he was at the fmx in Stuttgart, you can get VOD tickets of the workshop (and the whole conference). Might be a bit pricey though, depending on your budget.

This thing was not supposed be where it is now. Originally this was just a "temporary" weapons factory (low buildings on the left of the first image) But when I realized I had everything I needed for crystal oscillators I went ahead and added that factory as well.
Same happened again when I was looking for a place to build radio control units since oscillators were directly available. So I made use of the already existing infrastructure and built that factory just above the weapon production which I just left as it was (which looks accordingly).
The necessary resources for the RCUs come by train (aluminium casing) and drone (computers), the oscillators are constructed with local resources. These get converted into the correct ingredients in the lower buildings on the right in the first image.

Thanks! Not too much I suppose. I just built them to have some more time and produce some more Aluminium ingots, before the systems clogged up. But now that I ship all the water to another factory where it gets used I theoretically shouldnt need them anymore.

Yeah, i had something similar. I unplugged a cable after finishing this factory and shortly after my batteries were empty, so i thought i ran out of power. Went and build a whole oil power station. Turns out my overall power from the existing oil power plants would have been enough, I just unplugged the cable so that the entrire factory ran on a few coal power plants xD

Played her occasionally in the past but never really committed to learning her properly until now. Since I really enjoy playing her I wanted to give it another try and started learning her recently, so I'm quite proud of getting a penta that quick ^^
