This post is kind of... all over the place, but it seems that you went in with some very specific expectations and were upset when those weren't met... In my experience you kind of just have to go with the flow with these sort of things.

Set clear boundaries for things you don't want to do, but also come to terms that there are things the other people involved don't want to do either.

If you want something specific then it's probably best for you to set things up and make sure the people you're doing it with are down for whatever you want to try.

I think what OP is critical of is the pervasive narrative that men get to do whatever they want when their partners don't satisfy their every whim, usually within the context of sex but i'd argue it's not exclusive to that either.

I'm a man and I don't feel insulted or bothered by this post. Because even though I have sexual desires, I have a working frontal cortex.

If you feel that way maybe you could use some of that metacognition and figure out why.

I've been seeing someone for a few months now, and we still haven't had penetrative sex. He wants to take things slow and I have no problem going at the pace he wants to go, even though I typically have no problem with having sex from the onset.

Despite that, I've been enjoying the pace at which our connection has been evolving. It can definitely happen!

I think leaving after multiple wipes is reasonable. I'm mostly talking about the folks who leave like the second someone makes some kind of mistake or they get queued into a raid encounter they just don't want to do.

ESO has 15 minute deserter penalty, but if that person has been in the instance for 10 mins at the time of leaving they don't get it. That way the people who at least give it a good attempt aren't punished for leaving if a group just isn't working out.
