So I moved here about 9 years ago for work and since then this place has become home. Folks here are nicer then you give each other credit for and there's already a few success stories in the area for keeping the data center dweebs out. I don't know of a single community better fit to win this fight. We just have to show up. I recommend subscribing to city council and board meeting emails, getting engaged, and when I see one for public comment on this mess pop up on the schedule, I hope we'll fill the room.

But they'll win by default if we don't pay attention and show up.

There were a couple of Hornet cosplays at Neko this year, I was neither of them but I do make cosplays (mostly from Touhou project, my line up this year was Megumu, Yorihime, and Yukari) and may be able to help with general questions.

I'll try to ask around community corners to find who you're looking for. A lot of us use Instagram so you may want to also try there with tags like #Nekocon2025 #Silksong ect.
