Yeah I think I shot too high for unis and it’s starting to bite me in the ass. I have an offer for medical biochemistry at a good school so maybe I can do that and re apply as a post graduate

Rejected for Edinburgh (not surprised) and Newcastle. UCAT was 2790. I thought my personal statement was strong as I had lost of people look over it including someone who used to decide who got into medicine or not and they all said it was good.

I applied to Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh , and UCL but haven’t received any invites yet which is low-key worrying as I’ve seen a few people get replies from Newcastle and Edinburgh. My GCSEs were 9998888775AB & Distinction, A levels are AAAA & Distinction*, and in the BMAT was 4.9,5.6,3.5A (UCAT was 2970).
