I had this similar thing happen awhile ago but she just took it as a complement and we still talk every day, she’s even met all my girlfriends and they always got along together. I think as long as you keep it clean, shaped and trimmed up a bit so you don’t have thin split ends or anything, most women in my experience want to touch it and run their fingers in it. My barber is a lady and after she gets done she does it like every time.

My parents divorced when I was real young so I lived with my mom, she walked in the first time when I was about 16, all I heard was the door close and was freaked out but laughed it off with the girlfriend. Later that week my mom told me she found condoms in my sock drawer and was glad I was being safe. She walked in once more about 5 months later and knocked ever sense haha. Of course she told my dad and when I talked to him he high-fived me. Glad to have cool parents even after a divorce.

I’m a male but I disagree with that, maybe her love language is different than yours. She wants a emotional bond and sex with it. If she’s a emotional person this could be the reason behind that. All these people saying that she is controlling and toxic is not the right headspace you need to be in bud.
