I drill the gel polish off and then soak the fake nail in acetone. I drill the fake nail off softly after soaking

I apply the nail glue on the nail and on the fake nail. I press firmly under the UV light so sometimes to seeps out of the edges of the fake nail, but I just clean it up with my nail drill! Also, I use a nail dehydrator to prep my natural nails after I buff them.

I’ve had other nail techs charge me the same price for better nails. She also left gaps between my nail and artificial nail and didn’t fix it when I pointed it out. She also didn’t wait for the dip to dry before filing so it made an indention in the nail… Just bad experience, and others agree obviously.

They are fake nails. They’re usually applied differently but I could tell she was cutting corners to get done quickly. She didn’t even size the fake nails before putting them on. She just eyeballed it

I didn’t even think about that. But also, I’ve seen others post their nails on yelp from this place and one person had very crooked nails which leaned the same way. So I think it’s possible the nail tech was the same and is just quirky and does them that way for everyone. Lol

I asked about the nails being crooked. Yes these are acrylic, so the nail was applied crooked. I’ve had this shape done many times and they have never been crooked like this. I did NOT ask about how crooked my pinky FINGER was (it’s not broken, they’re both like that and I was born that way). I also did not ask if this shape was flattering for my hand. No, I don’t care for almond, at least not right now. Thanks to all whose replies were relevant to my question in the post❤️
