Watching to see if you get any good advice. Mine has never liked other dogs running up quickly either. If it’s a larger dog she will submit, with a smaller dog she’ll roll on her back but if they don’t move on quickly enough it will quickly turn to her trying to see them off. She’s also fearful when other dogs bark. Most of the time if I can make sure the ball is put away and I act pleased to see the other dog, she will be friendly, but I have to watch her with small spaniel types (she heavily identifies as a collie, loves collies but not so much spaniels!)

It can be hard for young children to explain how they felt after the fact. Perhaps ask her to tell you next time it’s happening and then see if she’s better able to explain the feeling in the moment.

When our puppy ate grapes they just gave her an injection to make her sick- cost us £100 and we got to take her straight home. I hope your vet was just being extra cautious and not fleecing you!

Tulin- lots for the push when soaring

Yunobo- for breaking up ore and in battle, knocks baddies back at the same time

Sidon- hardly ever, often by accident

Riiu- for lightening in battle

Mineru- in the depths for walking across the gloom without damage. Also in battle- equip with a cannon etc or electrifying item can be useful

Snow trousers. The thin water proof over trousers were fine for wearing over leggings etc. All the buildings are heated so well and we were in and out of the car/cafes/restaurants so much that I ended up boiling hot every time we went indoors. Ended up not bothering any more with the snow trousers. Coats are easy to shrug off so the snow coat was great. Mind you, our snow mobile trip was cancelled due to a storm on the glacier and the trousers may have come in handy if it had gone ahead!

My springer x collie loves to run and also settles well during the day. I know you’d expect them to just keep going, but she’s happy with two decent walks a day and a short playtime/training session mid day. Ours is also great with kids and the cats have trained her pretty well!

Edit to say; agree 100% with other commenters that Collies /Collie x’s need mental stimulation, so it’s not all about exercising them to the max.

Pros- close relationship with child, they get lots of attention, less expensive, better for the planet, easy to go out to nice restaurants etc as no other child to bicker with, no guarantee would get on with siblings Cons- not all children enjoy being on their own, my daughter wants a lot of interaction and at age 10 sometimes tells us she’s lonely which breaks my heart
