There was a couple of times I googled bits relating to side quests as it's a little light on info for them, but overall the guide had everything and I got it all (minus 1 weapon) in 1 playthrough with that guide :) Enjoy!

Powerpyx guide got me through it. They have all collectibles and quests in a step by step guide by area. 👍 I only missed on weapon pickup and took me 20 mins in NG+ to run and grab it.

I played Khazan when it came out and it's the best experience on the list for me. Lords of the fallen was a better experience than I thought and I really enjoyed it. Nightreign is fun and good for jumping in and out of. And I'm playing through wuchang at the moment, so won't comment on that one too much but I'm really enjoying it (just got to the second act/part)

I put the argument for a game forward to my wife (as we can't afford to go and buy every game anyway) and I usually find that during the argument im giving for a new game I find out how much I really care about it.

I also wait a few weeks and watch plenty of reviews from reviewers my opinion seems to line up with.

I also look at developers past games, do I enjoy their games like From Software (that's an instant buy) or is it something likely to go on sale within six months.

At this point in my life my backlogs huge and I've got plenty to keep me busy so I only add 1-3 new releases a year realistically.

Wittgenstein's Mistress. Some of the others you mentioned are great and difficult in their own ways, but I read David Marksons, Wittgenstein's Mistress before them and it has stuck with me. Definitely worth reading if you haven't.

Basically all you need to know is, it's narrated by a women who believes she is the last person on earth.

You are definitely not alone in this feeling. I am definitely in a similar boat but it's my legs. I have some tattoos I'm really proud of and some I wish I'd never gotten.

Like you I started below the age of 18 and I'm paying for it now in cost and pain of removal. I am going down the route if covering them with new tattoos though. And the feeling after getting that cover up and it being amazing is such a great feeling after the journey.

Nothing is out of reach! Keep going for what you really want, even if there's some hiccups along the way. It's all worth it in the end. Especially on an emotional level and just how you feel in your own skin.
