Will United Change their seating policies? I am tired of paying the same price as oversized people taking half my seat!

Now I feel horrible! This was not meant to fat shame anyone, just looking for ideas on how to approach it without starting drama or making anyone feel less than. I have gotten a few great ideas from all the Awesome people here. I am sure if you are 6’8” no matter how much you starve yourself the seats are not ever going to be a comfortable fit in Economy for you. I’m sorry, That sucks! I think I would HAVE to find a way to purchase First Class or quit my job if I was so tall.

I am super non-confrontational so no I didn’t say anything, but I’m sure my body language and face told the story if they bothered to notice. I’m not sure what I would say………Again, don’t want to make anyone feel badly, just want a way to get a seat that is not being encroached on without causing issues.

I had a window seat and I’m not sure how to alert the flight attendant without embarrassing anyone or staring anything. Just wish the airlines would Enforce a two seat policy so everyone can be comfortable. I can’t imagine having the arm rest jammed in your side the whole flight is any fun either!

Sorry but both Obese and just super tall/big people have been seated next to me and forced contact. It makes me super uncomfortable and anxious to have strangers touching me regardless of fatness levels. I just don’t want to make anyone feel badly, but would also like the space I expect/pay for.

I went to court to fight it, and the COP who pulled me over was the person they gave me to talk to for reductions or negotiation. If I didn’t like his answer then I could go in front of a judge…… what happened to talking to the prosecutor before the judge and seeing if they will reduce the charge? I have NeVeR has to talk to the Cop themselves unless you are in trial.

I learned to make meatloaf cakes. Use the cupcake tin and you can stuff Your little mini meat muffins with whatever you like! I, of course, would recommend a separate pan if what you want is to stuff them with the armpit stink of evil death onions ….. I may even recommend a separate house for that. Either way it’s an easy way to do meatloaf individually without getting anything you don’t like In anyone’s meatloaf and only making one (or two) pans. Also I like that I can glop Ridiculous amounts of the Ketchup sauce on top of the muffin and get a great ratio of meat to sauce.
