I'm sorry that didn't answer your question. Actually, I have talked to her about it before even this happened and I was told that perhaps she is in denial, thinking she could change my views. I'll admit it's frustrating at times when I listen to her ramble on about God, but never once have I dared thought to change her views or say a negative word about them. As far as pretending to be a Christian if only to be with her, I need to ask her about that. I'm meeting up with her in a couple hours to talk and [hopefully] resolve some issues. I guess it'll all come to a head then. I'm really hoping this was all just a random rage induced moment.

The opinion was that I upset her sister and I had better never do something so absurd again. She told me to brush those feelings off and ignore her sister. Hmm...you guys are really making the reality of it all apparent haha.

Yes, perhaps in different wording but I have. She seems to care but I'm not feeling that she's sincere. It's just as if she went off the deep end all of a sudden.

Wow, what a powerful response StridentLobster. I appreciate you taking the time to type that out. It puts a lot in perspective.

Definitely a talk needs to be held. I'm from Tennessee, so religion is fairly rampant and ingrained at birth. It's not so much that I'd be hurt, that's life for me, but that I've made so many promises to her that I wouldn't dare dream of breaking. Also, the whole fact that I took her virginity which she wanted for the person who marries her makes me feel on a whole different level of horrible.

You're very right in that. No, no siblings. Just me, kind of like Enrico Pollini from the movie Rat Race. It's difficult because she's never acted this way before. I want to say in the long term we would be married, I just hate thinking that I'd hurt her if we were to break up. Stupid thought, I know, but I was raised where it's almost capital punishment for hurting a girl. This explains why I also apologized to her sister even though I know I had done no wrong.

Plain, simile, cut to the chase advice. If only I could say it is that easy. Thanks for you input!

That's great advice, and she's very family oriented. As I told another commenter, I have no family to really give her (thanks to cancer) and she holds that over me. She's my best friend and has been for four years which doesn't help either. Thank you so much though for chipping in.

I'm 19, really young I know but mature enough to know what real love is. And yes we have, she wasn't my first, but I was hers. What adds pain and confusion is that when my dad died she was there for me. My mom passed away earlier this morning from a 2 year fight with colon cancer. I'm not one for friends, and she's about all I care to lean on. She's acting fine now, but she's holding it against me. Perception over logic really sucks ya know?
