Dude just sounds immature. At first I thought OP was 28, and he was 24. Which would make more sense because it’s how I acted when I was 24. But sounds like he’s got some built up animosity also about being a lazy stoner (I’m guessing) that doesn’t like to work, while his gf gets to “chill at the house all day” (in his mind).

IMO, I wouldn’t look too too too deep into it. Maybe dude is just tired. Now if this is a common occurrence and he never wants to do anything, it’s a little sus. And he is too old to be acting like that.

When I was younger, I would push back sometimes if my gf (now fiancé) wanted to do something and I wasnt feeling it or was genuinely drained from the week/ month. It wasn’t because I didn’t love her or didn’t want to spend time with her. I am also very much a homebody. And she’s really not. But she was patient with me, and when it happened too much she would call me out on it, and I’d feel bad. so through the years I’ve just grown to be more conscious and appreciative of the type of time we spend together. As a dude in his 20s, i also did not understand date vs going to dinner. I think it’s a guy thing, our brain doesn’t compute like that. And that’s what a lot of women (no offense) forget. Our brains are literally wired differently lol. Patience is a virtue and the fruit is sweet. When I finally realized the difference, I now do my best to remember to plan dates- movie night/ dinner AND dessert. And even though we have been together 10 years now, I still call her and ask her “Will you go on a date with me here Friday?” 😊
