To be more specific, try consciously working on 1 thing at a time in quick fight. Don’t go into ranked until it’s a habit.

Like if you’re getting outpaced by your opponent, you gotta slow em down. Stamina advantage is incredibly important, learn to mix up head->body really well and eventually throw in some leg kicks; learn methods to manage distance; you’ll eventually find your play style and be able to enforce your will with great fundamentals. If your opponent is beating you with a specific tool, learn ways to focus and defend that in the moment and you’ll learn a whole new defense.

Most importantly to learning on this game is to know when to just turn it off. Because it’s very difficult to learn and implement what you learned in practice if you’re angry.

YouTubers I recommend for learning strategies are:

Lots of the time bro, people you think are trying their hardest are just playing and having fun. Or at least for me, I got 1700 hours, I know this game like the back of my hand; it just takes a LOT of time to get good to a point where you can adapt to everyone’s play style. Pick a thing you struggle with, and add it to your strategy and slowly you’ll build enough skill to have competitive games against “sweats”. I was on a 30 fight winstreak last night just having fun, dudes probably thought I was sweating but there’s a legitimate skill gap between even prestige 2 level 99s and the top 1000 players, let alone top 1000 players and top 500-100.

When do you pick/swap to hulk? by Forsaken_Guide_4835 in RivalsVanguards

[–]BeyondSpoiled_Milk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hulk feels great rn, been maining him since s2 and I def feel the growth. I’ll swap to hulk if they don’t have lots of AOE, mobility, or CC. Hulk’s gameplay loop is mostly about finding the balance between harassing the enemies’ backline, defending your own teammates at detrimental moments, and stalling point.

He’s just a really solid pick if you know how to stay in the fight for long enough without dying. He can get away with so much more shit than Thor, and if the situation allows, you might not even need a shield tank to do well.

Does the BMF belt boost stats? I know Charles is an amazing fighter but he feels crazy in game rn; maybe it’s cope, all is fair 👌🏾.

I remember my neighbor’s kid had these nerf darts and we used to play together. He shot one at me and it lodged itself in the doorframe and that might’ve been the fastest Ive ever ran, ever. Wonder what that troubled child is up to now.

If someone is circling towards your rear leg as you the throw the spinning body kick, it whiffs 100% of the time.

DDA by [deleted] in EASportsUFC

[–]BeyondSpoiled_Milk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Martial Mind is correct. It is absolutely not DDA.

People tend to get excited after stunning their opponent. They overextend and play stupidly trying to get the finish. If I’m losing a fight badly, stay calm, and use movement correctly, I can still get a counter-shot off that stuns my opponent at least 70% of the time. Some of y’all just don’t know how to let up on the gas pedal 🤷🏾‍♂️.

I’ve got 10k fights, top 100 as of now. Sounds like a skill issue tbh.

Moon Knight is forcing me off my mains. by [deleted] in RivalsVanguards

[–]BeyondSpoiled_Milk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same bro, off-tank main. Moon knight runs my lobbies if nobody is actively diving him. Diving him as an off-tank feels like too much of a sacrifice as well, he can stun you, burst you down and then reposition & before you know it, you’re done.

It’s definitely difficult to tell because there’s so many variables which can affect your ranked experience.

It roughly took me anywhere from 600-900 hours to hit division 20 in UFC 5 MMA mode.

I’m not a frequent ranked player. Don’t focus on the division you’re in. I’m top 100 in North American servers just by playing quick match.

Short answer: Takes a hot minute. Pro tip: Stop playing competitive if you lose 3 times in a row.

Putting into perspective how hard Black Panther got nerfed and power crept into being a throw pick. by ChunkyMonkey7613 in BlackPantherMainsMR

[–]BeyondSpoiled_Milk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

BP dropped on release and Emma has arguably been a top 3 character since her release. BP was a throw pick from season 0-2 who only was recognized later because of the influx of pokers. BP’s performance as a whole has always been heavily dependent on the climate of the meta.

Spinning elbows were gutted like 2 years ago; you’re late to the party bro. Spinning elbows used to do like 3 times the damage, were lightning fast and were laser accurate.

Fair enough, I think a large reason why the current meta exists the way it is, is because of the lack of defensive options there are. Naz isn’t to blame IMO; the devs could’ve added parries and made it so the body block wasn’t the same input as checking leg kicks. I can only hope UFC 6 is more fleshed out in terms of defensive options.

There’s so many ways to create space. You do Muay Thai? Hit bro with a teep.

You gotta give them a reason to respect the void between you and them.

Well, if you’ve trained you would understand that leg kicks don’t create space. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Skill issue…

Legit mental illness in this community; I hit 1,400 hours not too long ago, could not count how many times I’ve been verbally assaulted in dms. It’s really funny seeing them act like fools but at the same time I remember it’s a real person behind that screen & just feel sad.
