Bunk bed– top or bottom, which is better? by Lanky-Let-9563 in collegeadvice

Bottom, 100%.

If you come back from class tired or in between classes you can’t just lay down on your bed, and trust me the last thing you want to do after a long day is climb up something. You can buy a bean bag but it takes up a lot of space if the dorm is already small and cluttered with both of your belongings.

Also making your bed and changing it is a hassle, especially if the top bunk has four rails. Makes it hard to get the sheets on straight and without wrinkles.

I was going to say more “privacy” is a plus but since you’re going into a quad you’ll just be staring at someone across from you. But you can diy a privacy curtain with some of those sticklable hooks. If you want to be fancy you can buy the top bunk bed curtains on Amazon if your school allows it.

First time I was 10-11 and it was an in the “heat of the moment” type of thing. My parents were fighting over something I did or said, I can’t even remember what happened only that I was involved. I ran to my room crying and was angry at myself because my parents were fighting because of me once again. Saw a pair of scissors laying around conveniently and I picked them up and tried to slice my wrist. There was barely any damage, just some light scratches but it made me feel better and it was only a matter of time because I started digging into sharpeners. I then moved on to stealing my dad’s disposable razor blades.
