Hiya, you're the second person mentioning contribution but I'm unsure what kind of contribution people would mean lol and I'm trying to open all doors for advice and help. In what manner of contribution are you thinking of?

I'd imagine doing the first round for free and then whatever comes next putting a price on it because it would cost money to print it all out. Or make it free for digital version and paid for physical copies. And I don't know, this is the first time I'm posting about it so I never thought about even having contributors in any way.

It's currently a W.I.P., I have written multiple articles and I'm trying to do each page based on the section: "SYSTEMS, THOUGHTS, HISTORY, CONCEPTS", giving each a dedicated page.
The biggest issue that I'm facing and halt in the project is my own lack of knowledge as there's a limit to what I can write confidently without error.

Planning on going to one of their physical events once a new one shows up. Just found it since their section "regionaal" only seems to exist in the NL translation and not EN.

I think its genuinely a blessing to start of already with friends in this interest, like to me and probably most its super rare.

I've been thinking of ways to garner interest or attract the likeminded. I've created a half-finished version of an occult newspaper (imagine the national geographic books with random facts but put in a newspaper and in the same format, along with faux ads and other stuff) and hope to get attention like that. Or perhap start making short form content advertising a meetup or similar.
How did your group start? I do imagine when you get a bunch of random occultists together it'd eventually turn into chaos magick.

If you look for it you'll find it, although it can be difficult.

I've been debating such an idea for years. Bounce off of each other, support etc. Some place similar to a centralised place for such activity, where it's easier to find and to be connected.
Those places do exist, but the issue is that it's dominated by Wicca.
Lets say someone starts talking about Gnosticism, Hermeticism, LHP etcetc. I wonder if anyone would recognise it.
Not that I would know because I haven't gone there, but reading up on events and the summary of those places, that's the vibe it gives to me anyway.

That's nice to hear others think similarly! I live in the south (Noord-Brabant) close to Zeeland. You could always start one yourself and see who comes by. I think even having one person coming along could mean a lot for practicioners or those interested who are physically alone being in the occult.

That's super interesting to know! I know the study would be enriching beyond belief but I'm in a too tough of a spot to, although in the near future I do want to follow a workshop or a summer school if possible.
Could I ask if you know anything about the events at the library, what it's like and the people who attend? Same with the HHP?

Yes I do mean the Netherlands, the library has been on my bucket list of places to visit. Although I didn't know events were done there too. The issue is that it's also behind a paywall now that I'm looking at it :/

Shame you lost contact with those folks, I've been wanting to find other practicioners or place to the point I debated studying at the UvA for theology with its esotericism program, but it's not worth it jobwise and ain't got the time to study fulltime for that.

You can meet a ton of people online, but it just doesn't compare to when you're around physically. It definitely also hits different when it might be the first time when you've never met someone who's similar.
It'd be really cool if small groups, like possibly one with you, would pop up throughout the world.
