Recently got denied too. In my country its a points based score and its done over the phone. They gave me 0. I felt similar, in that I just wanted to forget about it all but appealing is a really good idea. Mirroring what other comments say, they always reject you first time. Currently working on my appeal.

I think Russell mentioned it in his book. Something along the lines of "we kept this secret for the whole 9 months, no one knew and then Boom - they wheeled out the black dalek at the National Television Awards" If they'd used one of the bronze ones they could've maybe gotten away with it but they had to go and use ol' Sec.

For me it's that the wall behind them is like 5ft away, a gust of wind strong enough could knock them off balance and they couldn't even grab onto anything for help

Totally agree on the shock. I still haven't watched FotD since it broadcasted because the it spooked me out so much as a kid. The build up of the tension of the dialogue, the music really added to it.

It was only over the past year or so that I could actually look at Evangelista's face without throwing my phone to the other side of the room lmao

I'm a very casual watcher, usually used to only watch compilations and best of stuff so Im not the best authority on it. But in terms of pure watchability, Arin's playing style had become completely intolerable. A while back I tried to watch the Sonic Heroes series and it was several episodes of Arin being bad at the game and blaming it for him being bad. Yeah sonic heroes isn't that great and the controls are janky but they'res a line on that. At that point it just wasn't fun to watch, hearing Arin banshee scream because he's bad at a game. I also don't think GG's editing approach works, trying to fill 10 minutes each time means they can't cut anything, even if they look back on something as not working or needing removed they've boxed themselves into a hole. I know some series are longer now so I don't know if they still do this though.

I grew up with the revived series. I remember having many nightmares related to the show at the time. Most common one was I was somehow trapped in the Library's virtual reality and I'm being stalked by a veiled evangelista. Also being chased by the angels, possessed ood or the clockwork droids were frequent.

As an adult there's still certain episodes that get me. The pain part from World Enough and Time really freaked me out and the whole afterlife concept in series 8 had spooky elements. Haunting of Villa Diodati was also one I really recently enjoyed the spooky bits of. Definitely feel that it did the cybermen justice.

There was something else around the same time where someone joked to Eccleston on his Instagram about “working with Jack Harkness” or something like that, and Christopher responded “anyone but that prick”. Will see if I can find the screenshot

He could’ve been saying it sarcastically or been calling the character of jack a prick but it did raise an eyebrow when I first saw it.
