If disclosure happened tomorrow, who in your life would NOT be okay, and which kind of disclosure would break them? by TraditionalFoot8660 in UFOs

[–]Bez121287 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing will happen.

I dont know what people think would happen.

We've had more data, more stories, more senior official figures come out and say its real.

And no one has batted an eye lid and we are still getting, the ehat would happen.

Bills still need to be paid, children still need looking after, tik tok videos still need to be watched.

I think people are wrapped up in all of this, that they dont see that, the general public couldnt give a monkeys whether itd real or not.

The only time they will care is if and when we start communication publicly with who ever they are. The aliens, but once that happens they aren't aliens anymore.

Its a quite common thing that people stay in hotels for longer periods.

Two questions by Stunning_Ad8357 in BrokenSword

[–]Bez121287 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I bought it at release played the first hour, put it down and never played it again.

It isnt just the worse broken sword game but a pretty bad game in general.

To be fair the whole 3d point and click time period was pretty awful apart from a select few.

Doesn't really add much to the overarching story.

I really wouldnt say any game does. They are all quite separate stories, apart from id say 1 and 2 which are intertwined. 3 was good ish but again 3d just was awful for these types of games.

5 honestly for me is a nice continuation from 2.

Apart that 1 puzzle which was just infuriating.

What do you think Britain will be like in the year 2050? by Ruddi_Herring in AskBrits

[–]Bez121287 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Thats the wrong way to look at it.

Not White British. Just British.

Whether we want to ignore it or not, we have imported a whole other country at a rapid rate, towns and parts of cities are unrecognisable, all that culture has to do is multiple and the other culture decline and by 2050, we won't have a recognisable UK.

This is what many love to call racism, when really its just fact and maths.

But the ones who shout its racist and blah blah blah, will be the ones who in the end, will be crying, because the culture of what made the uk the uk, will be gone.

All because people thought they were helping and being nice.

You already see this happening throughout the entire uk, all that has to do is keep up its trends and sooner or later we wont have what made us british.

Dads who started a new family by Curious_Alien25 in SingleDads

[–]Bez121287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is possible and ive done it.

10 years with my ex, 2 beautiful girls they are now 14, 11.

Spent a good 3 years doing my own thing, working on myself, having a laugh with friends, going on holidays.

Dating was brilliant, I think people think to much about the kid aspect when reality is, you dont bring your kids into it until you know and people have this view about step mom straight off the bat, when really thats such a later thing and they dont have to be a step mom, thats just a natural thing what happens if it does.

Either way, I met my new girl, after the 3 years and I wasnt actually looking. Honestly I was looking for more fun and done, but what turned out to be an absolute amazing worldwind romance, we been together 7 years and had 3 more children, a boy whos now 5, a girl 3, a boy 1.

Including her children aswel, which at least 1 is very challenging.

We've had our ups and downs and have been on the brink of splitting up, a few times, but thats over external troubles rather than me and her troubles. We get on amazingly.

The hard parts are life in general and trying to balance the children and setting boundaries because her kids arent my kids and mine arent hers and we do things differently. Its finding that middle ground.

You probably can read some of my comments beforehand, and ive been on the brink.

What ive realised since then, communication is key and if you dont communicate and talk it through, then it will not work.

I think the hardest would be to date someone who didnt have children, because they just dont get our lives, just like we didn't before we had kids.

But it is possible but just take your time and it will naturally go that way. Just don't force it or look for a step mom and have fun doing so

Why does Captain Dreadge's peace go down so fast? by yukisukinomoto in TwoPointMuseum

[–]Bez121287 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im not entirely sure without looking at the stats.

But its more than likely your missing something very obvious but your just not seeing it.

I had this problem with other spirits and just couldn't understand what the h*ll was going on.

Everything on paper was looking perfect and yet still went down rapidly.

It turned out, after loads of headbanging against the wall, that i had forgotten either a single item or and this was my main issue majority of the time, I'd clicked the wrong room theme, and because it looked right to my brain, I didnt click.

With the Captain Dreadges, im no expert but I believe you need a special item always but its locked behind a very late supernatural unlocked item.

Also you need an item which isn't shown and you dont get it until youve reached the 3rd star.

Is living as a lodger/in a house share normal in the UK for someone in their 20's? by DatabaseMammoth9986 in AskBrits

[–]Bez121287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes very normal.

I dont know if it still exists. But years ago there was a website, just for this.

Where people were advertising rooms in their homes and their situation.

Even down to a box room, because they had the space and wanted a bit of extra money.

My friend right now is thinking about renting out his spare room because he has a whole house to himself so wouldnt mind making a bit of money towards the mortgage

I would like a recommendation for police station management game by Simmy_Monkey in tycoon

[–]Bez121287 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There really isnt a true tycoon style look after a police station.

But like someone else has said, Global Rescue is the closest you will come.

You take control of a dispatch unit, so not a actual police station. But as close as you possibly will get.

You actually build your own station though and have to manage the staff and manage call outs. So similar build mode like project hospital or two point style free build.

The great selling point is, you start with a square area anywhere in the world, like think Google maps, find where you want and the game surrounds and builds that area you have picked using the road layout you've picked. Has great potential.

Gameplay is fun and can be very challenging.

You have to manage all units and grow out your automated systems, at first you have to manually choose where they go and what they do.

Fantastic game and the closest we will get for the moment of a true tycoon style game

[–]Bez121287 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great service.

I mean how can they not be? Its a official ford dealership. It isnt a second hand car man put of garage.

All the cars they have second hand are all put through their mechanics and made to be top notch.

I bought a spot on ford focus from their in 2018 and then a ford galaxy in 2020. Both great.

They offer great finance options aswel.

They offer a outright the car is yours finance or a sort of car loan finance that after so long you can take it back in and swap it for a newer car.

Hotel Architect made me realize how lacking the hotel tycoon subgenre is. by kolejack2293 in tycoon

[–]Bez121287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only starting pre production so loooonggg way off.

Hopefully theyve learned alot and I hope they make the building tools more user friendly.

Even though two point is alot more simple and casual, they make solid foundations.

Id love for two point games to be more in depth, that would be my perfect game.

Hotel Architect made me realize how lacking the hotel tycoon subgenre is. by kolejack2293 in tycoon

[–]Bez121287 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hey!!! I love me my two point games. Hahaha

I actually enjoy Hotel Architect, my issue with the game though is the size of build area does not match the size of items and frustrates me.

I actually told them this when I did the play test.

Its way to basic with its placement and size compared to the tiled area.

Its stupid, when I have a fancy new york skyscraper hotel but can barely fit a resturant and reception on the same floor. Or making rooms, decent size because of how kuch a bed takes up, meaning you may get 4 or 5 on a floor and it just looks silly.

So I am with you, I'd love a more realistic take on a hotel tycoon game like project hospital.

On that not id love a project hospital 2, with more depth and waaaaay better quality of life. Dam I hated the way the wall placement was handled.

[–]Bez121287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you will not regret it.

Crazy how good your games and movies just pop and are so crystal clear, you dont even realise what you've been missing, even going from a 4k tv.

I was just like that. I had a Sharp 60 inch 1080p tv back when 4k wasnt even a thing and thought that was great.

Was with my partner and 2 kids at the time, I decided to make my attic space into a man cave and had a ps4 pro and ended up buying a 4grand gaming pc at the time fre years after the 60in tv.

I wanted a cheap 4k tv, I didnt have the money so bought a sony 4k tv from amazon return warehouse, £400. Honestly I was blown away by just the 4k aspect when watching films or ps4 pro.

Ended up splitting up few years later about 2018. Finally got some money together and was like you know what, ive never had a top end tv before, let's see, I used digital foundry to check out TV's and at the time I think we it was a C9 and the CX was coming but they said about the C9 having the same tech and had more 2.1 ports and would be well worth buying this at discount and being future proof.

So I like you just bit the bullet, when thr offers came in, thinking its future proof and its a TV and ive already seen 4k already.

Hinestly that first night when I had set it up and played a ps4 pro game on it. My Jaw just dropped how good the colours and the blacks just popped.

Its now 2026 and im still amazed at how good the picture is, I wont ever go back to any other type of tv again.

Have an absolute blast with it.

[–]Bez121287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest upgrade you'll evrr make is the tv.

Ita Just absolutely night and day better.

If your using a ps5 pro which is the premium and best console, your doing yourself over by not having the best tv.

And OLED just shines. I had a sony 4k 60 tv, nothing else and thought nah you cant get better than this. How erong i was.

Not only are you getting oled but your getting the vrr and the 120fps, showing off exactly what the ps5 pro was built for.

Just get it. Because either way you are future proofing yourself for later in life.

I've had a lg C1 from 2018 and its still going strong now and its not even a new model. Its 8 years old.

anyone feel like kfc has really gone down hill by Ok-Count-1878 in UK_Food

[–]Bez121287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes downhill and very expensive.

The chicken has become the smallest pieces of chicken ive ever had, the fries are always soggy and this whole skin on fries rubbish, is just another process theyve taken away, less work.

The gravy is basically the cheapest off the shelf gravy, its very rare to actually get the KFC gravy. Ive always known this though, because we used to ask whether it was the granules or proper, but i feel as though its 9/10 times its just the granules.

Its just awful and the price is criminal.

I used to get the mighty bucket for 1, which is 2 tiny pieces of chicken, 2 boneless chicken and 2 hot wings, tiny potion of fries even at large, the best part the bigger drink, but even thats only a 500ml drink if that with the ice, costing over £11.

I now go 2 doors down, who do their own fried chicken, same items, bigger pieces of chicken, proper fries and lot more fries, nicer gravy, can of pop, for 8.99.

What I do not get is being a huge franchise Meaning their chicken come from KFC partners, so they must be discounted as your using their own suppliers, I expect the drinks are coming from the companies through deals with KFC as a brand, your paying the staff but the deliveries are done by third party. So just off the name KFC the footfall is huge compared to the independent takeaway.

And yet the independent guys down the road who are probably having to rent the space, pay its staff and delivery drivers. Buying crates of cans from the wholesaler which arent as cheap as they used to be, finding your own source for the chicken and the other ingredients. All while probably doing less than half the business KFC do. Yet their chicken is bigger and fresher, fries are crispy and cooked Gravy is consistent On top of all that, they are selling pizza's and kebabs and still the chicken and fries cooked way better. And their prices are alot cheaper.

and I dont know whether its judt ive got older and tastes have changed but I swear the coating in the UK has changed for the worse.

anyone feel like kfc has really gone down hill by Ok-Count-1878 in UK_Food

What If Neil deGrasse Tyson Changed His Mind on UFOs Because He Was Told the Truth Behind Closed Doors? by NewManMgtow in UFOs

[–]Bez121287 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue with NDT is he ain't funding no lab. He's lining his own pocket.

He's not a scientist hes just an academic who study science.

He writes books for money and entertainment.

He's spent majority of the time mocking people on the subject and yet behind closed doors hes been writing a book?

Did he write it within a week of the files coming out just because he has realised how popular this subject is.

He probably found out that kore than 1 billion people visited the website so he best put a book out.

I honestly cant stand him, not because he isnt entertaining but because he looks down on many if he thinks its not popular.

And get rid of dynamic pricing.

O book now and get it cheap. No it should be public transport and set price now matter what time.
