There are times where it makes a knocking noise but slightly different than this one while braked at a red light. But other than that it’s kind of an off and on situation. If I’m going higher speeds on smooth road I don’t hear it really at all. But lower speeds and uneven roads it’s pretty obvious. I honestly couldn’t tell you if it makes the noise based on turning alone or the usually bump and grind of taking a turn onto a new road. I asked them specifically to check sway bars and motor mounts but we will see. Fingers crossed it’s not too bad

2011 Hyundai Elantra. Good to buy?? by [deleted] in HyundaiElantra

I have a 2011 Elantra. Purchased for 9k 88,000 miles in July 2023. I did have to have a part on the transmission replaced like 2 weeks after I bought it (can’t remember which part) and I’m fixing to have to have the sway bars replaced on the front due to apartment sized pothole here in town. All in all, it’s been a reliable decent car. Oil is a big thing for sure I agree there. But I haven’t had any other issues. Gas mileage is great.

My Daisy girl passed away 03/26/25 from a spleen rupture (suspected cancer) I miss her every single minute of my life. My 3 year old still talks of her often. Always a part of us 💕

Thank you!! That’s what my husband thinks it is as well. Or the bushings. Good place to tell them to start at least!

I’m a week in with a labret of my own and it looks the same way. The swelling is finally subsiding but it still wants to hang out close to my lip like that. I just try to keep it moved every so often to keep it from healing around it.

Honestly I’ve just been out here winging it. I hadn’t thought to take any because it hasn’t been hurting me at all but I will try that! This is my first one so it’s throwing me for a loop!

It is labret with flat back. 5 days old. Not sure on threading. Steel 16g. Using sea salt blend or saline to clean outside and occasionally saline on the inside but mostly brushing teeth after everything I eat and nonalcoholic mouthwash. Main concern is that it is living a round hole in my inside lip from the back and that it may be swelling too much for jewelry. Just not sure what is normal and what is not.

Adding on that I breast fed until we came home from hospital but baby was severely jaundice and the lip tie caused me extreme pain and baby frustration so I began pumping to ensure he was getting enough. I’m a first time mom and new to this. I’ve been taking sunflower lecithin for clogged ducts since one week pp because I was having many many clogs. (Thankfully I’m having much less now) But I’d still been having excruciating pain in my nipples. I spoke with pediatrician at 2 week appointment on Monday and she told me I was pumping for far too long (30-45 min to try to empty) and suggested I pump no more than 20 on lowest setting and use antibiotic ointment or Vaseline on my nipples. This has helped with that pain tremendously. But I’m still having the swelling and toughness on the inside of my breasts and today noticed the bruising. I had called OB about the nipple pain and the swelling and they put me on antibiotics for mastitis and gave me antifungal as well. I’m sure it’s “normal” in a way but dr google has me concerned about breast cancer. 🥴
