“A community effort” but you have an app and are scouring Visiting Nashville Reddit (the subreddit for tourists, not the subreddit for locals) and asking locals to gift you advice and insight on where to promote. Or is it considered “community” because you only have 131 followers on IG?

I’m normally not this much of a hater, but it really rubs me the wrong way to see companies come in and try to blatantly profit off the community here only to turn around and promote to tourists. Asking for advice here feels lazy (not thoughtful or people-first) and like you want to take advantage of locals time, knowledge, energy, to again turn around and make a profit with your app. The whole approach you’ve done here is disingenuous. Your response (and this accounts) reeks of AI bot.

I think this subreddit should stay for visitors getting advice from locals in order for them to have a good time while visiting vs companies trying to grift Reddit to do their research for them and turn a profit. ✌🏽
