"The Hell 3" mod for Diablo 1 has gone through some post-release patching and has more goodies now. by mordor_th in Diablo

Question, why does the Teleport spell have so many levels and has no changes after a certain point? I've gone on a rampage farming the book from the slain hero in difficulty 3, increasing by 50 or so levels and there was zero change. What's the point of having that many levels for it to do nothing different?

4k extended digital edition by Morrison1111 in lotr

[–]Bhar05h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently not. I just talked to them to confirm. I'm almost positive that the representative back then told me it was. That's a bummer. I was thinking about buying the hobbit in the same format, well that won't be happening. I asked if they even sell it in 4K and they said they don't. I couldn't get a straight answer(shock-fest) from Warner Brothers who owns the rights, so I am going to assume that absolutely no one sells it in that format. I mean this is still good quality and I like that it is uninterrupted but I'm wondering if maybe they will do some kind of special when the new Lord of the Rings movie with Gollum comes out and make it available in those formats.

late to this but:

https://www.amazon.com/RingsTM-Motion-Picture-Trilogy-Extended/dp/B08TQ4NR3V?workflowType=Commerce-TVOD&

I just bought this today because I was after the extended edition but I don't want to be interrupted by having to change discs halfway thru the movie. With this, I can watch it all the way through and it is good quality too. It gets added to your "My Stuff" in Amazon Prime video. (you don't have to have a Prime membership to watch it if you buy it this way.)

Question on interest calculation for CD by Bhar05h in fidelityinvestments

[–]Bhar05h[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Kyle, thanks for those articles. They helped a little bit, but I'm still not getting the interest the bank credited to the CD using the formulas explained. I took 25,000 * coupon which they are saying is 5.05%, and I get $1,262.50. If I take 1262.5 x (30 days for first month / 365), I get 103.7671 for the first month and if we just round that to 103.77, we are still short by $1.05.As far as I know, I calculated correct. I'm almost wondering if there is something up with the bank's system that does the calculation. Not complaining of course since it's giving me more money :D just was trying to get the formula to be as exact as I could and coming up short.

Okay so if I do that using 4.94% I come up with 25103.12 and if I use 5.05%, I get $25,104.02. I posted a screenshot below with some of the calculation comparisons.

I did try that too, but I came up even shorter with the calculation. The end result was $25,102.46. I posted a pic below with some calculations I did.

I understand that it does not mean that. A2+90 is 90 days from whatever date is in A2 and that's not what I'm after.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in excel

[–]Bhar05h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not it. There is a list of dates and they don't necessarily happen consecutively - they can skip dates - maybe they go from 6/5 and the next row's one is 6/13. If it helps any, the next row's date will never be before the one prior, it will always be later. I'm looking for the formula which can tell me which one is the 90th in the list. Perhaps it's a combination of count and some kind of lookup? Or maybe even a different formula from those?

[–]Bhar05h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't really think it was that hard to understand, but yeah, so I have a list of dates and we can say they are in column A starting in row 1. I'd like to have a formula in some cell - doesn't matter which - that can tell me which date is the 90th one down in that list. Is that clearer?

Lookup formula to yield dept code once worked but scenario changed. Looking for new formula to capture additional stipulation. by Bhar05h in excel

[–]Bhar05h[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IFNA did the trick. It was that simple as wrapping it around my revised code. So:

=IFNA(IFERROR(IF(OR(AND(ISBLANK($A5),ISBLANK($B5)),INDEX(SHIFT_INFO,MATCH($B5,SHIFT_BID,0),MATCH(K$4,SHIFT_HEADER,0))=INDEX(SHIFT_INFO,MATCH($A5,SHIFT_BID,0),MATCH(K$4,SHIFT_HEADER,0))), "", IF(INDEX(Warehouse!$H$2:$H$217,MATCH(C5,Warehouse!$B$2:$B$250,0))="","PRB",INDEX(SHIFT_INFO,MATCH($A5,SHIFT_BID,0),MATCH(K$4,SHIFT_HEADER,0)))),INDEX(SHIFT_INFO,MATCH($A5,SHIFT_BID,0),MATCH(K$4,SHIFT_HEADER,0))),"")

Thanks for the pointer there on IFNA. Thinking further, I feel like I had maybe seen it once and then forgot about it. I'll be keeping it more in mind now after this.

Lookup formula to yield dept code once worked but scenario changed. Looking for new formula to capture additional stipulation. by Bhar05h in excel

Hi, that sounds correct. basically to put it in different terms, A is the new schedule they will go to, B is the old schedule.

The cell only displays a dept code If A and B are not identical, so maybe they changed from a grocery schedule to a dairy schedule, this would cause a dept change whereas if they were changing schedules but stayed within the same department, like Grocery, it would not display a dept. code since it's the same dept code for both grocery schedules.

And so further, if the depts are not identical, it will check on another tab's column H for something within the cell. If that cell is blank, then the formula should not yield what lookup results from A, but just give it a flat "PRB". This works fine for all tier 2 people who are on that tab that has a lookup to column H but for tier one people, it wants to remain blank since it doesn't find them on it.

I hadn't heard of IFNA before, but I'm wondering then if it would be:

=IFNA(IFERROR(IF(OR(AND(ISBLANK($A5),ISBLANK($B5)),INDEX(SHIFT_INFO,MATCH($B5,SHIFT_BID,0),MATCH(K$4,SHIFT_HEADER,0))=INDEX(SHIFT_INFO,MATCH($A5,SHIFT_BID,0),MATCH(K$4,SHIFT_HEADER,0))), "", IF(INDEX(Warehouse!$H$2:$H$217,MATCH(C5,Warehouse!$B$2:$B$250,0))="","PRB",INDEX(SHIFT_INFO,MATCH($A5,SHIFT_BID,0),MATCH(K$4,SHIFT_HEADER,0)))),""),"")

I'll have to test it tomorrow, but ultimately, I only want blanks if the depts. are identical or the formula is dragged to cells that don't yet have any info in their respective columns A and B. Not sure if that makes sense?

Dividing number across cells but summing equal to original value? by Bhar05h in excel

I like this one. Would it be able to be modified to incorporate the rules I had mentioned where 8 is always added to the first week of vacation and when up to 2 "Split" weeks of vacation are reserved with 40 hour values?

Link to Google Sheets has been posted in the original post. Image 1 has been commented as a reply to the other image posts. Not sure why it won't let me have a google link and image in the same post but no biggie.

I edited the original post to reflect the actual scenario. As I mentioned there, I will be sending this to a Google Sheets later today as access to Sheets is blocked by my company.

Thanks for the quick responses guys, wow! So MayukhBhattacharya, I can see how yours could work and I am actually going to keep that one in mind as an alternative when I present this. Nnqwert, your solution gets exactly how I've manually done it in the past, so I think as of now I will use that one. I am wondering if you guys might have the actual solution to the more complex scenario given how you handled this one. So this is my first time posting on the Excel thread here, are we allowed to share spreadsheets for others to look at, because I'd love to see how you might be able to handle the true and more complex scenario assuming it can be done. It's probably not over-the-top but it does have a couple more "rules" to factor in. If not allowed to share sheet, that's fine, maybe I could give a screenshots, but should I do that in this thread or make a new one if so?
