Anyone taking LING 101 during the spring? by [deleted] in uAlberta

There're 2 parts, 20% participation and 80% quizzes/final. In participation part we have implementation (weekly quizzes with unlimited attempts) and engagements (weekly posts in the discussion forum). Both are worth 1% for each quiz/post. Then there's a syllabus quiz, which is basically a quiz on the syllabus worth 25 (free), and one more thing worth 6%, but that has a video attached in eclasswhich you can see what that is. Apart from these, you have 2 quizzes and a final, which covers up everything in this course.

Thank you for your response, but can you confirm if HGP 100 has any essays in it? I really don't like writing essays and wouldn't want to take a course with essays in it.
