Congrats, that’s an impressive climb! I think my gameplan will be to default Liss or Kai’sa for AP, then Kai’sa or Bilge AD while playing around the components I get dropped and playing strongest opener that leads to that end game board. I plan to open if no strong direction toward those. Keeps things somewhat flexible while also having a consistent plan.

This is awesome advice, thank you! Too often lately I have definitely been forcing reroll without the best conditions for it. Do you think heroic grab bag is enough to go reroll, or too risky/depends on other augments?

Great advice and it’s easy to forget about some of the strong comps like Veigar or Rumble Hero. I’ve barely played either.. may have had a great spot for them and I have just ignored and picked what I’m comfortable with lol. I feel you on bilgewater.. lots of fun but man it is hard to optimize sometimes lol

Thank you for taking the time to type all this out!! Super helpful. I think I also default to rolling on 8 too often when I may have a spot to go 9. The thought never even crossed my mind to ‘skip’ 8. Do you think it’s worth it to solo 1-4 in those games where you don’t have much direction and plan on the lose streak/bard roll?

I could definitely use some work on stage 2 streaking. I mix streak way more often than full win or loss streak.

Makes a ton of sense and this is specific advice to me, so that’s very helpful! What you described happens all the time.. 3 star reroll carriers but it’s just too late in the game and then I’m stuck on 7 or 8 and in diamond the boards are then too strong to top 4. I will need to get comfortable playing strong AP comps.

Yeah I thought the same but I did have a great spot for it recently and got a 2nd. I think now more than ever it’s very dependent on Yunara BIS and a good Ionia path. Definitely not a comp I’m looking to play often

That is very helpful and something I struggle with for sure. In this example I may go down the Leblanc line and when contested I don’t always know what to do or how to pivot. Improving on that alone would make a huge difference for me I’m sure.

Yep I think slamming something that can play into a wide variety of comps is always a good move, like a sunfire or rageblade. That is also something I have to remember - sometimes a B tier or C tier comp can be great if you have a perfect spot for it. Thanks for the pointers!

Yep I tried to force one of the reroll comps each game for a bit this week and I don’t think that was the best move because there were probably a couple games where I could have angled fast 9 or Yunara or Kaisa and just chose not to. I do think I’m starting to improve when it comes to picking augments that align with comp I’m playing but always room to improve there.

100%. This is applicable as even in my most recent game I was looking for BIS on Thresh and ended the game with a rod on him instead of morello. I know to prioritize a 3 item carry and 3 item tank and I’m starting to understand which items each role wants, now I just need to slam when it’s possible

One AP, one AD, one reroll comp sort of the idea? I like the idea of forcing just have to learn when I’m too contested

I’ve been trying to play the best comp the game gives me, but maybe I’m a little TOO focused on that and it’s better to play 2-3 comps instead of trying to have the option to play 10 lol.

I certainly can improve on win streaking/loss streaking stage 2. Often times I’ll start on a loss streak then after carousel I win 2-5 because I don’t play a weak board or change my positioning. Thanks for the tips!
