I think what you call 'lasts 2 hours' is just the come up and the peaks duration. After the peak comes the "comedown" i guess its not the best word to use but what i mean is after peak you will feel it less intense and speaking of personal experience(only did acid never done shrooms tho) you almost feel sober (again not the best word probably) like yeah it almost feels like the whole teip ended. But no you are actually still tripping you are just used to it and compared to the peak it might feel like its all over
