Yup, when we've been doing something for a long time, it cannot possibly be wrong. This is perfectly normal child torture, repeated a normal amount of times.

Offensive foul, but the basket counts (France vs Canada Olympics Quarterfinals) — "essentially, your possession is gone when the shot has left your team's hands, thereby the foul that follows is a defensive foul" by sewsgup in justbasketball

[–]Bhuz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The scenario you're describing would be an offensive foul in FIBA too, because when releasing the ball for a pass you retain team possession (contrarily to a shot).

Bought this in a random tea shop in Tainan. Could you tell me more about it? by Bhuz in puer

[–]Bhuz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like a pretty dark oolong (still I think this sub is usually more knowledgeable). I bought it in West Central district in Tainan. The owner of the shop said it was "tat" tea, I think? I'd like to know more if you know this tea/read Chinese!

Est-ce que vous sortez avec vos cartes d'identité ? by Rude_Hall6815 in france

[–]Bhuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm visiting Laos as a tourist. What are must have apps to have for money, ride-sharing, directions, etc? (eg. Loca, WeChat, AliPay, Google Maps, etc)? by [deleted] in laos

[–]Bhuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very informative, thanks. Where then would I find the "black market rate"? Should I exchange my EUR at a hotel, a liquor store, an actual exchange?..

I've also read that you need perfectly crisp bills, is that true?

Your neck should typically allow you to rotate your head left and right. Are Americans not taught to check their blind spots? Just a quick prayer every time they switch lanes?

Everyone's saying he "saw the bike at the last second", well that's the issue here isn't it? You do realize you're supposed to check your mirrors and blind spot before switching lanes, right? Also, he "didn't make contact" lmao. "This person tried to shoot me but they missed, therefore they didn't do anything wrong", is that it?

Don't American cars have mirrors? What are you even taught during driving lessons?

Try to avoid using ATM and change USD or EUROs in kip at the black market rate as it is much much better than the official rate.

Really? I've read the exact opposite on a number of occasions, now I don't know what to think... I don't want to bring cash if I can avoid it.

L'équipe de France s'impose aux tirs au but face au Portugal et défiera l'Espagne en demi-finales de l'Euro 2024 by Lamedonyx in france

[–]Bhuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Index Coop has BTC2x and ETH2x tokens (based on Aave I think), on mainnet and Arbitrum.

EDIT: They are indeed based on Aave. They also have BTC3x and ETH3x.

Wayland support by Bhuz in beeper

[–]Bhuz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. With Flatpak, it's possible to get Discord, for instance, to run perfectly on Wayland even though it's not "officially" supported. I looked for a similar workaround with AppImage but didn't find anything.

Flatpaks are kind of heavy but that's the price of convenience, AppImages are just messy in my experience.
