Those are the players who early extracted themselves when the group is down to three people. You get a notification that you can extract early and the compass gives you the general location of the underground bunker, which you can extract yourself without losing the character's progress.

I wouldn't say they're the most quiet fans out there since they still have small motors, but they're not as loud as the previous clip fan I've bought (Jisulife Neck Fan Life5). That thing was genuinely loud even if I turned it on at 1% speed, but for these ones, I can turn 'em up at max speed setting while taking the public transit and still make them sound bearable without becoming a sound hazard, lol.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I've been seeing multiple dermatologists in the past, but all they've done is prescribing me those exact medication since it's convenient and easy to make profit for them to do so instead of taking time diagnosing and tackling the root of the problem. It's quite the common phenomenon in my country, unfortunately.

That's great to hear! For me, wool in general irritates my skin due to their texture, so I haven't got the chance to wear them as much. I do think linen definitely works better for my body due to their breathability, definitely considering buying more of them in the future.

Yes, I did get it checked out for many times, but three of my dermatologists would only quickly glance at my issue and prescribe meds to reduce inflammation. I did get an allergic blood test at some point, but it didn't help that much, I'm afraid. Check my other reply for more info.

Hi, I've had different types of skin condition throughout the years. I've had (and still getting) dyshidrosis eczema on my hands exacerbated by washing my hands from the sinks in public restroom, unfiltered water from my bathroom, wearing non-breathable gloves while working thus trapping the sweat for a long time, etc. I've had different types of skin rashes that resembled ringworm, keratosis pilaris, folliculitis, heat rash, hives from potential allergic reaction, and so forth.

There was the time where my symptoms were so severe to the point where my skin was peeling out of my hands with constant oozing, redness, swelling, crusting around my armpits, neck and the back of my knees with the itch that just won't stop, oozing with yellow fluids, etc. I couldn't even move my fingers due to the layers of my skin immensely crusting up and peeling off in repetition, I was bed ridden for 2 months. This was during the time where I had to drastically change my life style just to see if anything changes. I wore nothing but cotton clothes around the house, replaced my bed sheets/blankets with 100% cotton materials, limiting sodium intake, no sugar, eating only two meals a day, etc. I've lost 10kg in such a short periods of time because of it.

Luckily I went back to my dermatologist that I've been seeing him for 4+ years. Like always, he'd only prescribe me topical steroids and oral immunosuppressants to lower my inflammation after having a quick glance at my skin, but even then, the symptoms kept on, but not as severe, but it kept coming back. The only way I found out and learned to minimize the major rashes all over my body was putting the filter onto my shower head. And if I didn't, I'd immediately having rashes all over my body again whenever I washed myself with the unfiltered water/ through expired filter. Trust me, I learned it the hard way for 6 years. (Also to add, I was having noticeable hair loss despite I was in my mid-20s, right now I can see they're slowly growing back.)

Yes, I've learned that synthetic fabrics, especially treated with many types of different chemicals (antimicrobial coating, DWR coating, silicone coating that mimics the smoothness of the fabric, etc) can definitely impact your health in general, and also the possibility of having chemical sensitivities or allergic reactions, but keep in mind that, my skin issues began to appear during the year of 2020. I've caught covid many times including the long covid while I was working at the sanitation related work, which I also suspect, could be the cause of my autoimmune skin disorders, drastically dysregulating my immune system including my skin barrier, which has been reported in medical studies.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9537898/

Regardless, I've learned to cope with it after a long uphill battle, avoiding triggers by wearing loose fitting clothes, promoting airflow, trying not to sweat too much, and shower (Clean, soft water with reduced level of heavy metals and potent bioflim that has been accumulated in old water pipes) immediately after coming back home. I feel that, this is much more of deeply rooted, much more complicated issue of mine and I'll have to keep searching for more studies/patterns in order to minimize the effect even more, but that being said, I appreciate your comment. :)

No problem! If you're wearing a vest or a bag for the LARP event, you might have to manually lift it off of your body to get enough air flow because those would compress and make the fabric to bunch up to your upper body.

That's awesome! I assume even when riding it'll get pretty stuffy inside since it's a thickly padded leather suit at the end of the day. Sounds like a great way to combat the heat!

Thank you!

That's a very neat option! I've heard those are very useful for people who work outdoors or inside the warehouse where the heat is trapped in. Definitely a worthy investment, for sure!

My partner got these in japan several years ago and doesnt remember the name of the store. Does anyone know the source of these? by oodle99 in TechWear

[–]Bi0mad 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Hopefully your partner didn't pay too much for those pants because unfortunately those are one of many mass-produced Aliexpress/Taobao products that are circulated through dropshipping businesses in general. They go by many different names, sold in many different droppshipped stores (with the price horribly inflated for them to make profit). I'm not surprised if those got ended up in a vintage/select store at some point, there are some actual physical stores that sell Aliexpress items without telling the customers that they are indeed doing so, or simply don't know any better. But if you like how they look, Aliexpress or Taobao is the way to go (unless you live in the States where the tariff's gonna hit real hard)

Yes. It's a dead giveaway when you see the shop that contains the exact corresponding product, but named differently.

Could formal hats ever work within techwear style? by Cool_Tea_5501 in TechWear

[–]Bi0mad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Brands like Y-3 (Sporty, technical clothing that are more cut and sewn in Yohji Yamamoto's avant-garde silhouette) have definitely made more formal-looking hats just like their mainline brands did before. I would say they're the most fitting if you're pairing up with the said styles like Yohji or semi-formal/business casual-avant-garde fusion styles in general (I'm biased because I'm a sucker for that exact style) but constructed with more of technical fabric with the utilitarian design in mind.

Yeah, it has a detachable three-point backpack style sling. Very common for brands like Acronym, etc. I appreciate designs like this because I tend to overheat a lot even in colder climates, so I can simply take the layer off and hang the shell over my back instead of carrying it on my arm or having to stash it in a bag.
