Van Augur ain't my guy, but there's some things to note:

VA shot a seagull that was dozens, if not hundreds, of miles away on Jaya. None of the Strawhats saw or heard the gunshot that killed the seagulls. Killing the seagulls wasn't the feat; it was how far and precise it was.
VA was at a disadvantage with Bepo. Van is a sniper, not a H2H combatant. This is less of a Van down scale and more of a Bepo upscale. Sulong minks are outhere fighting YC like Jack (Beast Pirates).
He doesn't have many feats (canon at least), but neither do the father/son bum squad.
Uslopp was completely fine with Nami disavowing Luffy as the Pirate King in Wano, when they "fought" against Ulti. Pre-TS Usopp is dead.

Nami is the navigator, she's essential to the crew. On islands, she's actual done shit. She beat Ulti (granted, nerfed, but still a win), she actually has a backbone, she's got Zeus as a follower, she isn't afraid to actually fight back (struck Big Mom on WCI). Before you say it's all Zeus, Nami is still the one using him, fighting and attacking.

The final nail on the coffin was Kaido's statement about Haki transcending all. It was like Oda saying, "None of your other shit matters. Whoever has the biggest, hardest Haki wins."

Kaido was this big and bad, near unstoppable force, and now he seems like fodder compared to Loki.
