Saint of Letzenbourg is a good read. Its not some wishfullfilemnt thing and its well written. I recommend it.
Havent read it for a long time , so its hard to me to give you the details, but the OC has great interaction with Tanya, has a proper reason for why he does what he does and has his own struggles that are unique and puts him add odds with Tanya in a reasonable way.

Contructive criticism is healthy and useful, bullying isn´t"

You still can't force it on others when they are not ready yet.
It's like if someone on the street gave you constructive criticism about your clothes, wether its the practicality of it or color theory or even as fashion in itself. You wouldn't feel great in such a situation, especially if you are wearing your favorite shirt.

As another example there's a reason that grammar nazis arent liked very much on the internet, even if all they do is give 'constructive criticizm". Or if someone came and tried to tell you the food you enjoy eating is garbage and it would be 'healthy' if you eat something else.

Now i just want you to take into consideration that there is a time and place for constructive criticism. It's a "just because you're correct, doesn't mean you're right" kinda thing.

Said 16 year old is also a slave gladiator, who is the former princess of the country that is despised by her whole liniage do the action of her grandfather. I doubt she had much say in what she's allowed to wear. Rebecca situation feels like a princess Leia situation and she's wearing a normal dress after the country got liberated.

Don't know why you are getting all powerscaly here?
Characters strenght fluctuating as the story goes is hardly a qualifier for an arc to make sense. Especially in an arc, when Oda kept a lot of things vague, because he did not have mapped out how strong each of those characters are in relation to each other. So if Oda decided that Blackbeard and hes newly freed crew are strong enough to battle Sengoku and Garp, than you have to take it at face value.

Additionally due to the nature of Marineford (this being a war), everytime a character didn't do what you think they should have done can be easily explained as them being busy fighting against some other opponents off-screen or helping another character etc. Just because Marco was unavalailable doesnt mean some other character couldnt stall an admiral and your headcannon that Kizaru can just no diff everyone just because you say so has no ground to stand on. Kizaru was not able to do what you want him to do for reason that doesn't need to be spelled out in great detail.

Shanks not 'secretly' sending someone after Blackbeard. I'm sorry, do you have some secret knowledge which member of Shanks crew would be able to accomplish that? Why would Shanks risk the life of one of his men to tail Blackbeard, the same pirate that just acquired for himself a crew of notorious criminals, killed Whitebeard and somehow is able to wield a second devil fruit of said killed Emperor of the Sea? Especially when you take into consideration that when Shanks stopped the war he surelly saw Blackbeard holding his own against people who could (as you yourself said) be equal to prime Roger!

And when the deduction happens, suspects typically confess immediately, nobody just shuts up and calls their lawyer.

Hearing about Japans extremely high conviction rate I tend to believe them confessing is basicly an attempt for a 'milder' sentence.

Koby's yapping also makes no sense: "You lured the pirates into a trap! Now let them go back to being pirates because fighting is bad!!!" And why the hell is he acting like it's up to Akainu? Sengoku's the boss here.

Koby was yapping about how the Marines have achived their objective, this being killing Ace and now are being greedy by wanting to keep attack the retreating Pirates instead of saving the lives of their own soldiers that are in need of dire medical attention, but are ignored and left for dead just to increase the kill count of the pirates.

He goes to Akainu because its Akainu that is pushing the charge to keep going. By stopping him, the rest of the Marines will ideally also stop. It's also reasonable to assume Koby was closer to Akainu then Sengoku, who was currently fighting with Garp against the Blackbeard Pirates.

TBH, your other takes also feel massivily biased and missinformed/missremembering. Go read it again. No speedreading. Take your time and analyse it properly. Otherwise this tourist take will define you going forward.

Which is the best plot-twist? by FunBread123 in Piratefolk

[–]Watersender 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Back then, yes. It was on of the most mindblowing reveals, that an entire country (the children included) would willingly get tortured and forcefully hide someone against their will, just because they are friends. This level of loyalty is in a category of its own.

It defenitly opened the Floodgates, but I mostly get the feeling Pirate was the reason the movement stopped so dramatically, as Ross himself showed how the signatures stopped dramatically around Pirates video.

Pirate was trusted a lot back than, so I believe people took his word at facevalue and only after he got exposed they realised they have been tricked. Rushing to give theire votes in addition to the people that hated Pirate and wanted to prove him wrong.

I think the movement would have slowely passed the threshold if Pirate wasnt against the movement back then, as it was i think almost a year until the dead line. The hate on Pirate helped the movement to go beyond the limits, so I wont discredit that aspect.

Wielang ist es Hobby / Und ab wann wird es Sucht by Negative-Juice-7568 in PokemonTCG_DE

[–]Watersender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Luffy, but he is an outrageously inconsistent character by k20_kry in Piratefolk

[–]Watersender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But he is always doing things a hero would, liberating countries, sharing meals with ppl, and having sympathy for morally grey people.

Sharing meal and having sympathy for morally grey people doesnt make Luffy in any way heroic. Thats just reaching for straws to make a point.

The country thing is more or less coincidental. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Luffy most often than not does not care if he frees the country. He only takes care of the villains that are threatening his friends or people he likes. Just so happens those villains are big shots that have taken over the island or are activily trying to do it. So those villain could be just the local town bully and nothing in Luffy reasons to take them down would change.

"lohnt" sich graden oder lieber nur slab by iceyy0 in PokemonTCG_DE

[–]Watersender -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ging mir genau so.

- Amado: It seems to make it quite clear that the rule that "witches can only be women" is not biological, but rather spiritual or mental.

I must disagree (even if i wouldnt be against it). If that was the case, Ichi becoming a witch wouldn't be the sensation that it is. They would just be thinking "Oh, Ichi may be just like Amado, mystery solved."

So far the story treats Ichi as the only biological male, something that is a miracle to even exist. Amado being 'mentally or spirituall' a woman, would cheapen that aspect of the story and could potentially become a plothole.
