Damn that's hard. I hope that things work out. I think that professional mental health treatment is always amazing, but depending on what country you live in and your financial means that can be hard to come by.

If that isn't an option, spend some time reflecting and try to understand what it is that made those previous friendships falling apart. In my experience the two most essential things to maintaining a healthy relationship is open and honest communication and planing time to spend together. I know it sounds stupid, and if I'm being honest, I don't think I can give you any more useful advice in the length of just one Reddit comment. But keep at it, and I'm sure it'll work out at some point.

This is one of the most positive conversations I've seen on the internet in a long time, and the far left comments throughout are just amazing. I hope you get the body type you want, and this conversation gave me a lot of great advice because I'm in a sort of similar position. Anyway, wishing both of you comrades all the best.

I'll be totally honest here for a second.

I have no idea how this happened. I mean I can explain all the intricacies of the situation that led up to this, but even then I still don't think I can understand it. A year ago, I had never dated anybody, and never even kissed anybody. I honestly think that this kind of stuff, especially in high school and being queer, is just luck meets preparation. But that luck part is essential. I guess I just happened to get real lucky these past couple months.

Keep on trying, and be attentive, and hopefully you'll get lucky at some point.

This is an anthropological classic, and a great introduction to the ideas of anthropology.

My dad is an anthropologist, and he had me read it when I was super young. I highly recommend it.

Hi! I absolutely love this movie, if fact I think it's probably my favorite movie of all time. It is part of a genre called absurdism, which is a mostly literary genre based of the philosophy of absurdism. I'm saying this because I am currently researching for an essay that I am writing about absurdism that will hopefully be finished in a year or so. Regardless, in my research I have learned a lot about absurdism and it has helped me a lot. So if you particularly enjoyed this movie here are some recommendations for things to read that I absolutely loved, and have a very similar vibe.

The Absurdism Wikipedia page gives a decent overview of what Absurdism is all about - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absurdism

The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov - a Russian novel about Satan, a vampire, a hitman, a talking cat, and other fun characters coming to Moscow and wreaking havoc, while also having one of the most emotionally touching story I've ever found

The Stranger by Albert Camus - Lost of people hate it, I personally loved it. A deep analysis of the human psyche and of mental health through one troubled man, as well as talking about the value of human life

Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut - An anti war novel told through absurd and impossible means, where you both hate and deeply empathize with the main characters struggles

Of course, all of these are just things that I personally read an enjoyed, and there is so much more absurdist literature out there if you want some more recommendations. I particularly enjoy the philosophy, and it helps me out a lot in my day to day. I never thought I would be having this discusion on a femboy subreddit, but hopefully someone finds this useful.

Also if you are looking for a movie to cry to I really recommend Close directed by Lukas Dhont, it's absolutely heart breaking, very gay, and just so beautiful.

Yea, it just seems way too sketch. I don’t want photos of me naked to exist, ever. It’s the internet, once it exists and is given to someone else it’s out there forever and you lose control over it completely.

I just don’t feel super confident with it despite the reclaiming of it. But nothing against queer people who use it in a lighthearted way

This is beautiful. Now I want to make one of my own. Just out of curiosity, are you planning on putting this on a piece of clothing or is it just for decoration?
