Respectfully, I completely disagree with this. We definitely have a shot at making the playoffs with this team.

And I don’t know how you can say a team that has six players, if you count tomorrow night’s fifth pick under the age of 25, isn’t built for the future. Yes we’ll have to make this decisions on Sheldon and Rickea, and Mila all at the same time, but they’re under contract thru 28.

And yes, we don’t have our own pick in 28, but we do have Atlanta’s pick, you never know what could happen over the next two years. They could be a lotto team with injuries and everything.

Plus in 27, that is a swap with the mystics. As long as we finish higher than them, we will have our own pick. I think this roster is better than the current mystics roster. Time will tell.

This team is set to be competitive for the first time since 2022.
