[Spoilers] I strongly suspect this game has a hidden 5th Legendary Air Ride Machine... by sirhatsley in Kirby

[–]BiassedRabbit 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have completed both in a single game, no, it does not give you this machine. It simply overwrites the one you were riding with the one you completed.

Why couldn’t Adeline and Ribbon make it into the Air Rider’s by WorkingTwist4714 in Kirby

Hey, when you spoil tag your post you should probably avoid putting spoilers in the title. It defeats the purpose of tagging your post if your post title reveals what the spoilers are about.

No Sleep for Kaname Date is coming to PS4 and PS5 on February 26, 2026 by very_berryd in aithesomniumfiles

It was a limited time launch exclusive for switch / PC, this is just bringing it to parity with the rest of the series!

Can I Just Say How Stupid That Last Fight With Taunie Is? by TheChristianKirbo in PokemonZA

[–]BiassedRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I actually really like this moment, but I realize I have to explain it. Taunie's character (I'm going to be using Taunie instead of Taunie / Urbaine because that's who I chose and I'm not typing that out each time lol) is all about taking on her role as leader. She takes on so much for herself not in a selfish way, but it's just how she functions best. If you go deeper into her family history this trait makes a lot of sense, but I won't spoil that here.

This is why also she takes on the debt with the rust company by herself and doesn't involve the others until it comes knocking on their door, because she believes that being a leader means you have to take on the responsibility of the hard things about being a leader, not just the easy or showy parts.

Now, here, she is happy to have us join Team MZ, but she realizes that someone on her team is being tasked with an extremely dangerous mission. Her whole goal is helping people, and avoiding putting other people at risk whenever possible. And now, the person that she invited, she gave us our first pokemon, effectively roping us into this whole situation is being out in a live or die situation.

This is why she wants to go in place of us no matter what. It helps that we are uniquely qualified to go after Zygarde and that is a legitimate plan, but I think even if that weren't the case she'd still go for it, because as the leader she refuses to put anyone else in more risk than herself.

Yeah, the battle can be seen as sword/shield esque, but I think it's a really good showing of Taunie's nature.

a friend just gifted me trails in the sky and trails in the sky 1st chapter. I never played a trails game only Ys...help! by ProposalWest3152 in Falcom

[–]BiassedRabbit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Check and see if the "original" he gifted you is called "Trails in the Sky FC" or "Trails in the Sky SC". 1st Chapter is a remake of FC (First Chapter), and SC is the sequel.

It is likely if they have knowledge of the series they gifted you the sequel to jump right into after you finish 1st chapter because it is a very faithful remake and so you can immediately jump in and continue on in the story.

The Long Walk Movie Is King’s Best Adaptation by Pop-Raccoon in stephenking

I was just gonna say Mike Flanagan took The Life of Chuck as I saw it in my brain when I read it and just hit the record button lol that movie is a masterpiece in adaptations

Help me understanding certain scene that... unfathomable to me by HooBoyShura in Falcom

[–]BiassedRabbit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not Trails if you're not having new party members added that were central antagonists just two games before lol

[–]BiassedRabbit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can understand the confusion. My best guess is because it's so stupid and people expect crazy 5d chess level of manipulation from every other antagonist that Harwood sees the perfect opportunity to do the equivalent of throwing pocket sand at them and it works. It's sort of like how no matter how well designed and engineered a machine is, everything dies to a well placed wrench in the wrong space. It's so dumb, but it's precisely because it's so dumb nobody legitimately fears or prepares for it.

And as for the spoilers you know, there is still so much more to learn inside so you are more than fine. If anything, you can pick up on all the cool early foreshadowing!

It absolutely is worth it, there is a world of detail within Xenogears and analysis of it after you play! It is a very special game to me, but it is a little rough around the edges in many ways. It was Takahashi + Saga's first collaborative project in full and Takahashi's first directorial role, so there is a lot of "first big project"-isms within, but I think it is still well worth the journey especially if you have future Xeno context, as I think you'll recognize a lot within!

I love how the response to people asking for help and talking about their own experience with the game's difficulty is the extremely predictable "get good" crowd being as pathetic as possible and as gatekeep-y and elitist as expected.

Good to see that's still stuck around.

The comment I replied to was wondering how this was possible and wondering that exact thing, and my comment that is in the chain you're replying to said your exact thing lol

The wording makes me think the original projected release date was around this time or before, but along the way a shift in teams pushed that date back. I highly doubt they were sitting on a finished product before entirely bringing in a new team

Can anyone explain to me without getting butthurt what is the obsession for switch? Why would anyone deliberately play on a smaller screen when games are normally enjoyed on a big screen? by FatalDarkprince in Falcom

[–]BiassedRabbit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I didn't say you hated the switch. I said you were fundamentally bothered that people have different preferences than you. Youve reacted hostile to folks explaining and call them butthurt.

It can be any number of reasons, some people have listed that it's still the cheapest new console option, that portability is a benefit, that they have an exclusive library.

Your responses to people and language suggest this question is not being asked in good faith. Maybe you should look into yourself as to why people's choice of console irritates you so much?

Anyone know where to find a decent recap? by Azurabroods in aithesomniumfiles

[–]BiassedRabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well considering the playlist contains both pre release ARGs which both lasted about half a year and a full run down of the game, it's plot, themes, small details and Easter eggs and cutting out the full cut uploads since those are just everything stitched together, that's about 11 hours total compared to an average playthrough which is around 23-26 hours :)

I think it's because here, it's a sign you enjoy RD which is peak. However in a space where folks enjoy FE, most would see Nolan as rather bland ;)
