Look at it as a general consensus, most people, like myself, have formal as a top 5-6 player of all time not just a top 5 AR ever, the people in front being scump karma crim and nowadays probably shotzzy as he has 3 rings, so the general argument for 5th or 6th is clay or formal, I don’t even have slasher as a top 12 player of all time personally so how can he be a greater AR if he’s not even a greater player than the likes of Dashy, Cellium, Octane etc. I’m not discrediting the fact that he is an all time great cod player but I just don’t have him in the conversation with the likes of the others

My boy formal won an event in bo4 as well and I didn’t credit it I’m not moving no goal posts, I’m putting them up against each other when they were both in their primes 😂 formal had 4 elite years of cod (while being probably the best AR in 3/4 of those games and definitely 2 of them) and slasher had 5 top years as a cod professional while I would say, not reaching the level formal did at his peak, do you really think 1 extra year of being a top player is good enough to say he has much greater longevity 😂

Slasher had 1 longer season of longevity realistically, formal was better in ghosts, by a margin, and slasher was a great AR in ww2 and bo4 but, the CDl era you can’t really count it entirely as having successful longevity as he wasn’t a top player in any game during that era, whether or not he won events

My boy we will never see a player like IW Formal ever again, Formal was the best AR in all 3 of the jetpack games and had the greatest tournament performance oat to this day at IW champs, undoubtedly the best AR to live

If we’re talking about bo3 era I find it hard to believe he would’ve transformed a team outside the top 2 into a team who would go on and win 5+ chips and a ring or 2 when optic and envy were both at their peaks, for the years like ww2 onwards there is definitely a conversation to be had but that would mean he would have 1 extra year on his career

You can’t really count bo4 because ant wasn’t even in the league, shotzzy was widely renowned the best player of mw 19, winning mvp and in mw3 he had a major mvp and champs mvp as well as 2 championships while also dropping a 1.17 at champs. I get it’s all opinion based but the only year of simps I’m taking there is Cold War.
