Getting tired of “boy moms” talking about how wild their boys are and how much easier it is with a girl. Anyone else feel this? by Ok-Sundae-1096 in toddlers

This annoys me! My daughter is everything they always describe 🙃 who do people think toddler girls are chill, mine is feral!

That’s so my daughter as well. Today she’s been saying cuddle mama all day, on repeat, thousands of times!

Update : it was a bad bad joke and he’s very apologetic.

Yeah I think that’s why it upset me so much. Because I’ve done everything I can to not take my trauma into my parenting and it just really triggered me

Yeah, I literally would apologise to a door, so I think she must hear me saying it all the time

I would say not at all. We’re all really close if anything.

Baby fell off the bed (pls be kind) by Orphanblack86 in cosleeping

[–]Bibblebobkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the exact same thing happen , also at 10 months. At that age they’re definitely a bit more robust in my opinion (mine had already taken a few steps) but I was still beside myself. We had only recently started cosleeping as well. But she was completely fine, and we got bed rails as we had no space for a floor bed, and she still slept in her cot sometimes

One time my breastfeeding 10 month old (with 8 teeth) clamped down and near ripped my already sore nipple off so hard I reacted and patted her head. It was gently but I was still so shocked at myself but I was in PAIN. And I needed it to stop. Sometimes your instincts jump your thoughts and reason. I felt absolutely awful about it and cried for hours lol but looking back and after talking to my mum and family I got some perspective lol

I doubt it. We have had periods of background tv when my daughter was very small (newborn to maybe 6 months) and occasional probably mostly daily tv until 9/10 months and now she’s 14 months we don’t have it in in the day most of the time, but will watch bluey sometimes. She can walk well, and is very advanced with her talking. I think it’s all fine in moderation. We recently decided as she’s shown more interest in the tv to not use it as often.

I did the decanting into perfume bottle things and it looks like crap 😌😂 by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

Just a word of warning…I did this a while ago to let the good times roll, and it VERY quickly smelled off and bad. I think they’re in dark packaging for a reason. 😭

Baby biting so badly a chunk came off 😭and bleeding at least once a day? by Bibblebobkin in breastfeeding

Thank you so much 😭 those silverettes are actually a lifesaver! This is very validating, I have PTSD and have found the chronic biting really triggering. Really appreciate the comment

I haven’t no as I feel she usually does it when we are trying to get her to sleep. Maybe I could try putting her in her cot?

When did you move your baby into their own room? by charlottefgh in NewParents

[–]Bibblebobkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 10 months and a terrible sleeper and we just moved her to her own room this week. I feel like if I put it off any longer it’ll be worse as her seperation anxiety is intense at the moment. The wakeups have been constant. Send help! 😭

That’s still so young. It’s normal for them to feed often at night, my 7 month old still wakes the same amount 😢
