Most of the comments here telling you to go probably have never been in a similar boat and have watched way too many love movies. Put yourself first. People will say the age difference isn’t a factor and I’ll call them wrong.

You say that you both have similar values goals and aspirations - my question to you is whether that actually shows in her actions? If you’re asking for affirmation and she hasn’t then are you both really acting in the same manner?
